I thought I was in for a good s*x session, but then Darren stopped short.
"Did something happen?" I asked him.
When we used to make love, this guy never stopped in the middle of something. In this case, either he's trying to embarrass me, or something unexpected has happened.
"Douglas has just telegraphed to me that a large pack of werewolves is approaching on the outskirts of our pack base." "I don't know what they're up to, but we're probably in for a tough fight."
My heart sank for a moment.
Although I didn't have much of a sense of belonging to the Dark Moon Wolf Pack yet, I knew very well that a battle between two packs would definitely result in people getting hurt, or even people dying.
