Rosalie's POV
When I opened my eyes again, the blinding light hit me, and I struggled to sit up with my hand over my eyes. For a moment it was a little hard to tell where I was.
A woman in a doctor's uniform was leaning against the door frame, looking down and recording something with the pen in her hand. Without raising her head, she said, "You're awake, your previous injury is very serious, the wound is very slow to heal." After saying that she put the pen into her breast pocket and came over to observe my pupils.
"Well, the recovery is not bad."
I looked at her in a bit of a trance, and suddenly the scene from before came to mind. Tears instantly came to my eyes, and emotionally, I grabbed this female doctor's sleeve.
"Where did you find me? Where are my parents, are they still alive?"
"No, Alpha Darren only brought you here, he should have saved you."
I hurriedly wiped away my tears with my sleeve and rolled out of bed.
"Take me to him, doctor."
"You're still wounded, and you have a very strange wound that needs to be continued..."
"Please." I looked at her sadly and she seemed struck by the emotion in my eyes and didn't stop me again.
"All right, he's in the Council chamber now. Take your medicine and I'll take you there."
I eagerly took the pills in her hand, rammed them into my mouth and rushed out of the room, holding back the bitter taste. I caught a glimpse of the doctor's badge with her name on it: Dana Cohen.
"Thank you, Dana."
"Don't, I'm just a doctor."
Dana quickly led me to the door of the Alpha Darren's council chamber. I couldn't wait to rush in as all eyes in the chamber turned toward me. I looked straight at the handsome werewolf in the center seat, oblivious to others' surprise. I had to find my parents, and if they were still alive, they must need help!
"I am sorry to disturb you Alpha Darren, but I would like to ask you to help me find my parents, they are Alpha and Luna of the Blood Moon Pack, we were attacked by rogues, no, not rogues, I don't know, anyway they're probably hurt, I need your help!"
I pleaded with him incoherently. I was desperate for him to help me. Alpha Darren did not seem to be surprised by my uninvited visit. When he heard me out, he replied with nonchalance,
"Oh, they're dead, we found their bodies, and then the bodies disappeared."
The bad news penetrated my body like a sharp sword, and I fell helplessly to the ground, my heart full of despair. Alpha Darren seemed to be enjoying my desperate look quite a lot, and continued,
"It looks like a gang of very strong rogues did it, and the bodies of your parents were torn to pieces. Now you are a lone wolf with no parents and no pack, and lone wolves are not welcome here."
His words cut another deep wound into my heart. He was right, I had nothing now, and there was no way I could avenge my parents with my strength alone. Thinking of this, I lifted my tear-stained face to look at Alpha Darren.
"I want to stay in this pack, Alpha Darren. I want to avenge my parents."
Hearing this, Alpha Darren seemed finally interested. He turned his eyes to me, and I was able to take a closer look at the man. His face perfectly stopped my thoughts for a second.
"You can stay, as long as you become my slave."
The dashing Alpha sitting on the high seat said, a nasty grin on his face. The werewolves surrounding me had no objection to this demonic Alpha's orders, and several she-wolves beside him sneered out and cast a gloating look at me.
My face instantly went white, and then the feeling of humiliation made anger consume what was left of my sanity.
I clenched my fists and looked angrily at Darren, the most powerful Alpha of the pack. He's stronger than any alpha I've ever seen.
Rosalie, calm down. They saved your life.
"As a slave of our pack, first take off your clothes, and we will brand you as the slave of our pack."
"I don't know what you're talking about." I could feel the heat growing around me, and I gulped to ease my nervousness and fear, talking to the alpha of the pack in as steady a voice as I could.
"Alpha Darren, I hope what you just said was just a prank, but of course, I don't think it's funny."
I then heard him laugh, his voice low, as if I had said something so delightful.
He obviously found my response ridiculous, and I didn't see anything wrong with it.
Unless he really meant it that way.
"I never joke." Alpha Darren stopped laughing and he straightened up propping his elbows on his knees and looked at me slightly aggressively so I could see the man more clearly.
Unlike other Alphas I'd seen, he had semi-long blonde hair, and against it were orange-red pupils that I'd never seen before, but felt unusually familiar.
"I will never dishonor my Alpha bloodline." I rejected him firmly.
"Don't forget who brought you back, silly kitten." Alpha Darren threatened me in a nasty tone.
"I didn't ask you to save me, and I don't care to stay with your pack."
He snorted, as if mocking at what I just said .
"Do you think you can still leave now?" Just as I turned around to leave, Alpha Darren's sarcastic voice came from behind me.
As soon as he said that, a malicious looking shewolf approached me, she looked thin and pale with a murderous look in her eyes, I could sense that she was an Omega.
They actually let an omega to stop me? When I was in my former pack, many males were no match for me.
Without giving me much time to think, the Omega came at me at a rather rapid pace.
I dodged her first few attacks enduring the pain of my wounds, but was soon exhausted and she took the opportunity to kick me in the stomach.
"Ugh!"
The pain made me faint and I fell to the ground and curled up.
"It can't be!" I shook my head incredulously.
I couldn't even beat an omega right now.
I gasped for air, then supported the ground with my hands and tried to get up.
Before I could get up from the dirty ground, the omega stomped on my head and crushed my face hard into the ground again, while my head buzzed as I had absolutely no strength to resist.
"You're an Alpha? Doesn't look like it."
"Hahahahahaha look at her stupid face."
The man standing next to Alpha Darren looked at me, a hint of discomfort flashed across his face, "Darren, that's a bit much."
"Oh, yeah?" Alpha Darren slowly walked over from his seat and then crouched down to look at my face.
The omega let go of her leg, then grabbed me by the hair with her hand and dragged me up off the floor.
"Let go of me!" I wasn't resigned to this outcome and struggled to get away from her to stand up.
Alpha Darren's face appeared in front of my eyes, his vampire-like red eyes seemed to have magic powers, making people fall in at the first sight. Such an impeccable face was, unfortunately, on a scum.
He saw the disgust in my eyes, but smiled more happily. Fingers gently stroked the side of my face, then squeezed my chin so hard that I was forced to look him straight in the eye and clearly saw the malice in his eyes.
"You still think you're the Alpha's daughter? Do you? Now that you're in my pack, there's only one way to live, to be my plaything."
"Now you are not even as good as an omega, do you think you have a chance to escape?"
"You f*****g bastard!!!" I cursed this demon with all my strength, but he merely replied with a low voice that came up to my ear ambiguously.
"Bastard? I wish you would call me that in bed." Then he left me and issued an order to his men.
"Throw her into the dungeon until she voluntarily agrees to become my slave."
"No! Let me go! You have no right to treat me like this!" I struggled violently, only to be easily restrained by several werewolves and dragged outside.
"Alpha Darren, you will pay for your actions!" I looked at him viciously, wanting to eat this bastard Alpha alive.
"I'll wait for that day."
And he didn't even bother to give me a look, just waved his hand casually, and then, I was dragged into the dark and damp dungeon by a group of sturdy werewolves. They unceremoniously slammed me inside the dungeon and I instantly fainted under the violent mood swings.
