The next morning, Athena arrived late in the office.

With a frown on her face, she walks towards the executive office floor from the elevator. Her steps were slow, bringing the grumpy aura from her new home to her office.

"What's wrong Ms. Athena? pfft- You look like an old woman who lost her dentures just now."

Althea walked towards her while suppressing her laughter. Jiyoung just looked at her and gazed towards her chair again.

"Tsk. It was a very very bad morning."

Athena rolled her eyes and sat on her chair, looking on the glass door seeing Ethan reading some papers.

"aish..!"

She hissed recalling what happened yesterday.

*flashback*

"So this is your house?"

Athena can't help it but to open her mouth with amusement as soon as the pastel colored gate opened up.

It wasn't just a house. It was a huge mansion. It has it's own modern architectural design that consists with glass walls, white frames and black steels as it's exterior.

"Come out."

The car stopped in front of the entrance of the mansion. Ethan hopped out and so as Athena. Athena walked behind Ethan while adoring the house, holding her luggage she took from her previous home.

"It's really huge..."

she whispered to herself as she wandered her eyes. They reached the inside of the house and she can't help it but to adore the classical Scandinavian Interior style of the whole mansion. It look so soothing and calming seeing white and black as the colors of the interior. Countless paintings on the wall and the gray colored chandeliers on the ceiling. The one that attracts her the most where the white flowers with black branches all over the place on a glass vase.

"You quite have the taste."

Athena whispered, loud enough for Ethan to hear.

Ethan just looked at her.

"let me show you your room."

Ethan walked towards the stair. Athena followed him until they reached the door facing another door on the right.

"This one is mine. You can use that one."

Ethan pointed the room in front of his room. Athena nodded. He opened the door of his room and went inside..

"Do what you want to do. just don't make a mess and for pete's sake, don't play around."

Ethan slid into his room without saying anything other than that.

Athena shrugged her shoulder and just opened the door of her room.

Her mouth went wide as soon as she stepped inside.

"OMG..."

She cannot believe how huge her room is. It's like a whole apartment house already. It's complete of furniture. It has it's own huge television, bookshelf and even her own bathroom. near the bathroom is a huge walk in closet which miraculously have so many clothes and make up kits. It also have some luxurious accessory.

*ting!*

Her phone rang. She immediately took it seeing an unknown number calling her.

"Did you liked my gifts?"

Even tho she can't see it, She know Mrs. Mircovich is smiling from ear to ear.

"Isn't this.... too much Mrs.Mircovich? I-I cannot take this everything.."

She said stuttering while wandering her eyes on the whole closet. Branded Clothes.. accessories and jewelries... even make ups, bags and shoes. It's a complete set of what a woman would want.

"Oh sweetie, don't mind it. Just think that you got drunk and impulsively shopped everything you wanted. does that make sense?"

Mrs. Mircovich chuckled. Athena can't help it but to laugh.

"Thank you very much Mrs. Mircovich.. I'll cherish everything. Thank you very much.."

Athena sincerely expressed her gratitude. Mrs. Alessandra nodded.

"Alright sweetie, stay safe. Please help Ethan whenever he need you, okay? I'll end the call now."

"Yes Mrs. Mircovich. I will."

Alessandra ended the call after Athena's response.

Athena sighed, letting her body collapse on the soft cotton like bed.

'is this really happening...'

She stared on the ceiling for a minute, Then sat on the bed.

"Okay. Let's unpack some of our things now."

She took her luggage and unpacked some of her valuable things and then took a bath.

She looked at the wall clock on the wall above the television seeing it's already 7:12 pm, She walked towards her door and proceed downstairs.

"he can't cook right?"

Athena thought. With his motion blindness, he can't clearly cook. So how can he prepare the food for dinner?

Athena shrugged her shoulder and looked at the fridge.

"ohh.. it's full of things."

She took out vegetables on his fridge and took some beef out from the freezer. With this, she can make Beef stew with the ingredients on his ref.

She started the preparations, putting an apron and cutting the vegetables for the stew.

"The hell are you doing?"

Ethan barged inside the kitchen, moving towards the fridge and taking out some fresh milk.

"You can see me?"

She asked him.

"I can hear you. and i can smell the pan."

he said. she stopped what she is doing and stood still so that Ethan can see her.

"I'm cooking."

She said with an energetic tone.

Ethan just glanced at her, skeptical with her skills, he just shrugged his shoulder and went upstairs again.

"tss. wait until you tasted this stew."

Athena hissed. her grandmother who raised her graduated culinary and taught her every knowledge she has in order to make a good wife out of Athena.

Athena just realized. Isn't she acting like Ethan's wife?

"You're qualified as his wife."

Athena blushed and slapped herself.

"It's an assistant duty. Just an assistant duty."

She cleared for herself that what she is doing is just a work as Ethan personal assistant. No more, no less.

After a few minutes of focusing, Jiyoung finished what she is making and walked upstairs where Ethan's room is.

"Chairman?"

She knocked, no one was answering so she tried to knock again.

"Chairman Park?"

no one answered again. She twisted the door knob and thankfully, it wasn't locked.

She walked inside Ethan's room, Seeing no one inside. There's a room on his room. probably his office. she walked inside, Seeing Ethan drying his hair while buttoning his pajama shirt. Her eyes went wide and instantly turned around.

"What are you doing here?"

Ethan asked her, sitting on his swivel chair and putting his specs on.

"T-The dinner's ready."

"I don't want to eat."

he straightly said. She turned around seeing him checking the files again on his table.

Isn't he too workaholic?

"What do you mean you don't want to eat sir-"

"I don't want to eat."

"But why-"

Ethan looked at her and fixed his specs.

"I'm full. Get out of my room."

he said and shoo-ed her away. She can't help it but to frown and walked outside his room, kicking the aquarium near his television. seeing countless fish swam towards her.

"What's wrong with him? I even put effort just to cook for him."

She stomped her way towards the kitchen and started eating alone.

"It smell so good. It taste delicious. What's wrong with him?"

She pouted in annoyance and finished her food.

she stomped her way to her room after she cleaned the dishes.

With disappointment and annoyance clouding her head, She fell asleep immediately because of exhaustion.

...

4:42 am

*knock! knock!

Athena opened her eyes with the sudden banging on her door.

She stood up, putting on her slippers and walked towards the door.

She opened the door, revealing Sunghoon on his white pajamas and specs. His eyes were fluffy as he yawn. he just woke up.

"I'm hungry. make me some food."

He said yawning and walked back towards his room. Athena, who was taken aback furrowed his eyebrows and walked towards his room too

"You said you don't want to eat? You don't want my food right?"

"that was 8 hours ago. I'm hungry now."

Ethan walked towards the aquarium on his office and observed the fishes.

"i don't want to. Let me sleep more."

She said and turned around.

"Fine. I'll cook it myself. But please expect this house to be enveloped with fire in the morning. You can sleep now."

Ethan sarcastically smiled. and turned around to see her reaction.

"Why are you such a jerk?"

Athena scoffed.

"Who are you talking to? Your boyfriend?"

Ethan scoffed back and walked towards her.

"You can sleep now but with one condition."

He pointed the aquarium.

"Put your hand inside the aquarium for ten seconds."

Athena looked at him as if he's talking nonsense. she walked towards the aquarium to deal with his s**t right now and just sleep again.

"Just for so you know, The meats inside the freezer are actually for them."

Ethan said and smirked. Athena's eyes went wide as she figured out what kind of fishes were inside the tank.

"Aren't these freakin piranhas?!"

Her whole soul was taken aback. she almost put her hand inside the aquarium. She almost lost her arm.

"Yeah. What's wrong with keeping piranhas?"

Ethan walked towards the aquarium.

"They swim fast and stand still. I can keep an eye on them quickly."

he said. She looked at him with a questionable face.

"You're insane."

She said and walked towards the door.

"You'll sleep now? You didn't even dipped your fingers inside the aquarium."

"I'll cook. Chairman."

She rolled her eyes and walked downstairs. Ethan followed her.

"You're really a dumbass."

Ethan whispered on himself, laughing with her reaction causing her to raise her eyebrows once again.

"Coming from you who almost killed me there."

She said scoffing.

"You're dumb you don't know anything about piranhas."

he said laughing.

She put her apron again and started her preparations.

"Piranhas are scavengers. they don't eat alive organisms unless they know they are more powerful than them. they avoid unknown organisms for self protection. In short, they won't eat you even if you swam inside the aquarium."

Ethan said laughing at her. She stopped on her preparations.

"Why did you just tell me that right now?"

She said, absolutely annoyed.

"You didn't asked."

He shrugged, mocking at her which made her hiss out of annoyance

*end of flashback*

"Ms. Saavedra?"

She came back to her senses as Ethan called her.

"yes chairman?"

"the meeting will start 10 minutes from now. Come there with me."
