“I already got an interview!” I scream at Lilah through my phone. Her squeal of excitement rings back to my end, “Yay girl! I know you will get the job! You’re too smart not to.”
We have been texting about recent events in both of our worlds for over three hours but that’s the perks to being out of school. So, other than work there are no major duties to uphold for the summer. Plus, it’s a Saturday, so I have plenty of free time anyway. After getting the email I just had to call.
“Thanks love, I’ll talk to you later. ‘Kay? I just had to call because I’m so excited! I want to call John and tell him too.”
“Bye, hun.” She chimes back.
After hanging up with Lilah I dial John to tell him the news. He says he is excited for me and is now even more excited knowing that I’m stay
