“Well, she does have good credentials. And she has held a steady job for the last 3 years. Most 18 year olds can’t say as much these days.” I say looking over the applications that came across my desk.
My HR rep agrees so we add this ‘Catori Morehead’ to the pile for call backs to interview. Something about this one stands out but I can’t put my finger on it.
Later that day we have gone through about twenty applications only to find three that could be fit to work in our quality control department at this paper products plant. When it comes to employees we require bright, well focused minds to make sure that no mistakes are made with our products. And more so, in case there are mistakes, I need good quality control workers to catch the mistake early enough and have it fixed
