Walking into my office I find my uncle with a sullen look on his face. Instantly I am on alert knowing that something is wrong. I know no matter the case, if it involves my pack, it is my responsibility to handle as alpha now.
“Hey Uncle, what’s going on?” I try not to sound too worried.
With a heavy sigh he turned away from me to look out of the window. “Cat, the Rogue sightings have taken a turn. We had two attacks just on the edge of our territory this morning. Rather than tripping the sensors and disappearing they took two young lives today. Both victims were young women who share many traits as you. They all had the blonde hair, same build and blue eyes. At this point, my worry is that they are attacking to lure you out specifically.”
