Chapter 48
Aimee POV
I look at the door after the Doctor leaves; I turn to Zach and say; I have a request.
Zach: "I'll give you anything you want; just name it."
Aimee: "I want to go home."
Zach: "I want you home too. I want to snuggle you in our bed."
Aimee: "I hope you don't mean the packhouse because I want it to be just you and me."
Zach: "The penthouse it is. Just you and me."
I get out of the hospital bed, take his hand, and walk out of the room. I smile at him to ease his nerves. I can feel he knows much needs to be said. But it isn't that much to talk about like he thinks. We walk out of the hospital and go to his car; by the vehicle are Marc and Jess. Zach and I sit in the back and let Marc drive us to the hotel. I want to be alone with Zach.
