I was unaware of what was happening; I felt a burning, an itching sensation, heard voices going in and out, registered my body being rested on something soft. I felt as if the silver was gone but I couldn't be sure. My Wolf was softly whining in the back of my mind. I couldn't help but feel like I should stay awake, away from the brink of sleep. I fought against the unconsciousness as I registered a presence near me.
Something warm gripped me and I felt strength flowing into my body, easing the pain, erasing the dizziness. Healing me. Seizing ahold of this source of energy, I welcomed it, allowing it to flow into my veins. With this form of comfort, I felt the sleep rush towards me, and this time it just felt right to fall into it.
So I slept.
