SchoolsI studied at three schools – school with tuition, a parochial school and an ordinary one. My first school was a special English school at Park Kultury. I passed the interview. Many years after my childhood, I went to visit my former classmate Lola, now a ballerina at the Bolshoi Theater, and she put on a video cassette. It was a recording of the first day of our first class. A Soviet television cameraman made it for Lola’s big-shot father. It’s interesting that Lola was the one I was madly in love with in the first grade. I had a crush on her immediately, as soon as she sat next to me in the lunchroom, she was small, swarthy, with round eyes. “How do they let such little ones in here!” I thought delightedly.
