The banshee seemed to take a moment to assess the situation, its head twitching to the side and sniffing at the air once more. But the damage was done, and suddenly the revolting creature opened its mouth wide and screamed its ungodly scream; showing off its uneven set of thin razor sharp teeth and its long, meaty tongue which was still covered in fresh blood.
