A BLAST FROM THE PAST

As they walked through the streets, Charlotte couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over her. She had grown up in this town, and every street, every building, held a memory.

Williams seemed to sense her mood, and he walked beside her in comfortable silence. They turned a corner, and Charlotte's eyes landed on a familiar sight - the old ice cream parlor.

She gasped in delight. "Oh, wow! The ice cream parlor is still here!"

As they walked into the parlor, Charlotte was hit with a wave of nostalgia. The smell of waffle cones and chocolate sauce transported her back to her childhood.

Williams ordered them each a cone, and they sat down at a small table by the window. Charlotte took a lick of her ice cream and closed her eyes in bliss.

"This is still the best ice cream in town," she said, opening her eyes to smile at Williams.

He smiled back, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm glad you approve."

As they ate their ice cream, Charlotte couldn't help but steal glances at Williams. She had forgotten how much she enjoyed his company.

As they finished their ice cream, Williams stood up, holding out his hand to Charlotte. "Want to take a walk along the lake?"

Charlotte nodded, feeling a sense of excitement. "I'd love to."
