A FAKE DATING PROPOSAL

383 Words
As they sat down at a small café, Williams took a deep breath and began to explain his proposal. "I know this is going to sound crazy, but I need a favor. I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend for the next few weeks." Charlotte's eyes widened in surprise. "What? Why?" Williams leaned in, his voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "I've got a big business deal coming up, and I need to appear settled and stable. My investors are getting nervous, and I need to reassure them that I'm not some reckless bachelor." Charlotte raised an eyebrow. "And you think pretending to be your girlfriend will do the trick?" Williams nodded. "I do. You're smart, beautiful, and charming. You're the perfect fake girlfriend." Charlotte couldn't help but laugh. "You're certainly confident." Williams grinned. "I have to be. So, what do you say? Will you be my fake girlfriend?" Charlotte hesitated for a moment, weighing the pros and cons. But as she looked into Williams' eyes, she saw something there that made her say yes. "Okay," she said finally. "I'll do it." Williams let out a whoop of excitement and pulled Charlotte into a hug. "Thank you," he whispered into her ear. "I owe you one." As they pulled back, Charlotte couldn't help but feel a little flutter in her chest. She had agreed to pretend to be Williams' girlfriend, but as she looked into his eyes, she wondered if she was getting in over her head. Over the next few days, Charlotte and Williams worked on their fake relationship. They went on romantic dates, held hands in public, and even shared a few fake kisses. But as the days turned into weeks, Charlotte began to realize that her feelings for Williams weren't entirely fake. She was starting to develop real feelings for him, feelings that she couldn't ignore. As they sat down to dinner one night, Williams reached out and took Charlotte's hand. "Thanks for doing this," he said, his eyes locked on hers. "You're an amazing fake girlfriend." Charlotte smiled, feeling a little flutter in her chest. "Anytime," she said. "I'm happy to help." But as she looked into Williams' eyes, she wondered if she was happy to help, or if she was just happy to be near him.
