A SECRET REVEALED

As they sat on the beach, watching the stars, Williams turned to Charlotte with a serious expression. "There's something I need to tell you," he said.

Charlotte's heart skipped a beat as she wondered what Williams was going to reveal. "What is it?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Williams took a deep breath before speaking. "I've been keeping a secret from you, Charlotte. A secret that could change everything."

Williams looked at her with a mixture of fear and determination in his eyes. "I'm the CEO of the company that's been trying to buy out your family's business," he said.

Charlotte felt like she had been punched in the gut. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Why didn't you tell me?" she asked, trying to keep her emotions in check.

Williams shook his head. "I was afraid of losing you. I knew you would be upset, and I didn't want to ruin our relationship."
