A gasp left my lips as I was slammed against the wall. Excruciating pain ricocheted through my skull from the brutal impact. Fingers tightened around my throat, cutting the air until I felt the burn, both icy and scorching, twist its way down my lungs. And then there were his eyes. Pale, arctic, soulless. Judas towered over me like a nightmare made flesh, anger dancing like lightning across the storm of his gaze.
