MARRIED TO THE DEVIL.
Once upon a time, there was a young woman who was known for her beauty, wit, and kind heart. She had many suitors, but she held out for the perfect match. One day, a mysterious man arrived in town, a man who was said to be the most eligible bachelor in the land. The young woman was intrigued, and she accepted his invitation to dinner. But little did she know that this man was more than he seemed, and that this dinner would change her life forever...
As the young woman entered the grand ballroom, she was struck by the sheer opulence of the place. Everything was dripping with gold, and the chandeliers sparkled like diamonds. The young woman felt out of place, but she tried to hide her nerves as the mysterious man approached her. He smiled, and she found herself lost in his piercing blue eyes.
"Welcome," he said, extending his hand. "I am glad you could join me this evening."
The young woman took his hand and felt a spark, a spark of something she couldn't quite name.
The young woman and the mysterious man sat down to dinner, and he began to talk.
"I have heard of your beauty and your kindness," he said,
"and I have come to make you an offer."
The young woman's heart began to race.
"What offer is that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
The mysterious man smiled, and she could see a hint of fangs behind his lips.
"I offer you eternal life, eternal youth, and eternal beauty," he said. "All I ask in return is your soul."
The young woman froze, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew that this man was no ordinary man. He was a devil, a creature of darkness. But the thought of eternal life was too tempting to resist.
"What do I have to do?" she asked, her voice trembling.
"You must marry me," the devil said, his smile growing wider.
"You must be my bride, and you must love me with all your heart."
The young woman was torn. She was frightened, but she was also enchanted. She looked into the devil's eyes and saw something she had never seen before.
The young woman looked deep into the devil's eyes and saw a sadness, a longing for something he could never have.
"If I agree to your terms, will I ever be able to leave you?" she asked.
"You will always be bound to me, but you will have the freedom to do as you please," the devil said.
"You will never grow old, you will never feel pain, and you will never die. But you will always belong to me." .
The young woman was torn. On the one hand, she was frightened by the devil's offer.
But on the other hand, she was drawn to the promise of eternal life. She thought of all the things she could do, all the places she could go, if she could live forever. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, she made her decision.
"I accept your offer," she said, her voice shaking.
"I will marry you, and I will love you with all my heart."
The devil smiled and reached out to touch her hand.
"It is done," he said. "You are now mine forever."
And with that, the young woman's life changed forever
In the days and weeks that followed, the young woman's life was a whirlwind of activity. She was given a new home, filled with riches and finery. She was given servants to tend to her every need. And every night, the devil came to her in the darkness, and she gave him her love. But as the months and years passed, something began to change. The young woman began to feel a longing for something more. She began to miss the simple pleasures of her old life, the things she had once taken for granted.
She began to miss the sunlight on her face, the smell of flowers in the springtime, and the laughter of children at play. She began to feel trapped, like a prisoner in a gilded cage. She began to long for the freedom she had once known. But she knew that she could never leave the devil, that she was bound to him for eternity. And so she began to feel a deep despair, a despair that grew stronger with each passing day. Until finally, one night, she could bear it no longer.
