While everything is happening in the harbour and sea, the man with the mask is waiting for his next prey. The man is happy that the car waiting in the alleyway did not show up the last few nights. Maybe the one watching the garage gave up hope of catching him. Hans van der Bilt came from San Diego to meet Frieda Stander. He met the girl on a dating site and could not wait to meet her. Since he does not know LA that well, she explains to Hans how to get to the old garage in the alleyway that leads to the back of her house. Hans is a little early and walks to the garage. He sees that the garage is open and parks his car in the alleyway. Hans gets out and walks to the garage. He sees a big man working in the garage as he enters. The man's back is turned to him.
