Harper looks up at Dean. He is much taller than her, and she wonders why he would take her on this date if he does not even like her. However, Dean's face shows no expression, as always. Harper's hand rests lightly on his arm as they walk to the car. Harper's hand feels like it is burning into Dean's arm. They feel like there is an electric charge between them, and it makes them feel uncomfortable with each other. The one does not know if the other is experiencing the same sensation. Dean opens the door for Harper, and she gets in. Dean is not happy with his grandmother. He does not feel comfortable being so close to Harper.
