The LA killer has not struck for a long time. The FBI are busy profiling the killer as Thomas' file got leaked. Thomas is angry at Kayla as he knows she is the one that took his file to the head of their department. He does not want anyone to see his file and needs to hide things from them that are not meant for their eyes. Thomas does not like to talk about the case, and his supervisor hands the file back to him. Thomas is relieved to have his file back.
