First Date

Its getting close to 6 and i'm getting ready not knowing how this date is going to go. I felt really nervous because I wanted this date to go perfect and being around him made me so nervous and I always had butterflies in my stomach. I put on a bit of makeup and kept looking in the mirror to make sure I looked good for him. It was 6 and I hear a knock at the door. My stomach turning. I hear my mom answer the door and says"hi, you must be Josh" I started panicking and paced in the bathroom. I let out a deep breath and opened the bathroom door and made my way to the living room. I heard Josh and my mom talking and I seen Josh stare at me like he's never seen me before as I made way towards the front door. I looked at him and said "hi Josh" he replied " hi Sarah. I looked at my mom and she had a big smile on her face saying" you look beautiful sweetie" I said "thank you with an embarrassed look on my face. So I grab my purse from the couch and I said goodbye to my mom and thanked her for watching Caleb. This had been the first time I had been without him. My mom says goodbye to the both of us and assures me that Caleb will be just fine. Me and Josh head out to his truck and he opens the passenger door for me like a true gentleman . I asked him " where are we going? " he replied "its a surprise" I was so excited and nervous at the same time. a few minutes later he tells me "Sarah you look really beautiful tonight. I blushed as I looked down and said "thank you"
We finally arrived to this surprise place he was taking me to. I looked up and I see a sign that says Taco Nazo. I said "I love this place, how did you know?" I over heard you talking about it in class. "really" I said surprisingly. He responds "yes I remember everything you say" I looked at him with a big smile on my face. We start to get out of the truck and he tells me "wait" so I do. He comes around and opens the door for me. I thanked him and we walked toward the restaurant. We walked in and we were greeted by a man and he asked "how many people this evening?" we relied "just 2" we sat down and were given 2 menus. The waiter asked what we would like to drink and we both said diet coke at the same time. I giggled and we both looked at each other and smiled. We both were looking at the menu and I decided to ask " have you been here before Josh? " he responded "yes many times" I replied " oh I thought this had been your first time" " no" he said "this is my favorite place too" I felt so comfortable all of a sudden and we just laughed and laughed having an awesome time. We ordered our food me ordering first. I told the waiter " can I get a carne asada burrito with red sauce?" Then he asked Josh for his order and he said " can I have fish taco's?" The waiter takes our order and grabs our menus.
We get our food about 10 minutes later and then start to eat. We both stared at each other and smiled. He tells me 'enjoy" I tell him the same. We eat our food, but as I eat, I try to eat very slow so Josh doesn't see me get food all over my face or think i'm a pig. He asked me " is your food okay?" I respond "yes its really good" I eat a little faster so he doesn't suspect what I'm trying to do. Then he looks over at me and says " i'm really having a good time" I responded "me too" Josh nervously says " I wanted to tell you something and i'm not sure how you are going to react" I tell him " you can tell me anything" so he sort of stutters I and says " I cant stop thinking about you and I really would like you to be my girlfriend" I reply " I would really like that Josh, I feel the same way about you" He looks at me with the biggest smile on his face. We starred at each other for what seemed like forever and just locked eyes. I looked at him with at the time I felt was love and I just melted. I could see that he was feeling the same way just by the way he was looking at me. We finished up our food and Josh pays the bill. We leave the restaurant and get in the car. Then Josh says "can I take you to one more place?" I told him "sure" we drive off into the night 10 minutes passing and I realize where he is taking me. He is taking me to the top of hill near our school. So I wait until we arrive and he tells me " I thought we could see the stars together" I thought that was the sweetest thing ever. I was falling for him more and more. We get out of the car and we sit on the hood of his truck both of us looking up at the stars. He turns to look at me deep into my soul it seemed like. He tells me " can I kiss you?" I said "yes of course" so we both lean in and share the most wonderful kiss I have ever experienced. We kissed for at least 5 minutes and separated to catch our breaths. We looked at each other and just blurted out "I love you" at the same time. I couldn't believe it. we both said I love you. Could this be real?
