Stormy
I hear voices, a few I can easily recognize and others I can’t. I open my eyes trying to see if what I was hearing was real or not, but I can’t focus. I fall back to darkness.

The voices have turned to one voice, a familiar voice that sounds so sweet. I open my eyes and see Danny sitting at my side. I try to sit up but my body is too weak, I look at him and see he hasn’t noticed my movements. He’s still talking to me but I cannot respond, my voice isn’t there. I watch him stop talking to me and get up to leave before he leaves he kisses me and walks out the door. Why can’t I talk to him? Why can’t I respond? What is wrong with me?
