Friendship they thought

"Wow! Okay , here take your arm and hold it like this." Jack pressed against Amory .He held her arm and showed her the proper way to shield her self . She felt him brush against her wings . Her heart fluttered inside her .

Amory looked up at his shinny green eyes . His eyes where clear and Lucent as they shimmered under the sun.

Even though they were shrunken with grieve . They where sad , dark and told a horror story. But he smiled the brightest . He wasn't like everyone else Amory thought to her self . As she fought side to side with Jack .

"Hey can you teach me that one move you did? That was badass Amory!" He chuckled with a bright smile . "I would , but I got no clue how I did it . I guess it was kinda instinctual." Jack smiled down at Amory .

He was impressed , more than that.

He had lied to her about getting extra practice. He did it all just to be with her . He loved to spend time with her , she was always in his mind . All though Jack didn't understand what was really happening .

But something about her drove him crazy.

"You know what that means right?" He looked down at her and raised one eyebrow.

"No,what does that mean jack?" Amory crossed her arms and raised one eyebrow, mimicking him. He broke into smile .

"You got what it takes .

They spent hours practicing there moves together .

When they went apart , Amory found her self thinking about him . "What you smiling about ?" Greta ask , as they standed breathless after running 5 miles .

"Nothing , just a dumb thought. " Amory gasp. "Not about someone?" She ask strictly and confused . "What like you and benny?"

Greta laughed . "You child! But I think I might actually like him? But how do I know if he likes me back?" Sweat was pouring down both there faces . Amory's back was burning under her wings . They felt tight and tense. Amory wished she could stretch them . She can't dress infront off people . She gets up early before anyone. If they saw her wings . God! Amory didn't even want to think off that.

"Do something nice for him and if he does something in return , there's a spark . "

Greta smiled with full lips .

"Your smart girl !" They did a fist bump and both shared a drink off water .

There next training was hard . They had to learn how to defuse a bomb , it had to be under a minute. Amory lost but she came close. Amory was now hiding under a tree. The wind blew petals into the air. Fog had rolled in and there was soft mist that hazed the background. She stared up at the sunset that gleamed with vibrant colors that looked like rust. Yellow red and orange scattered the sky . The wind blew her hair across her face . Her silkie blue eyes where vibrant. As they field with every color of the sky . "May I join you ?" A familiar voice asked . Amory smiled and patted the ground beside her . Jack quietly sat down beside as Amory looked back at the sky ,wondering of where her family must be . "So hows your day been? " He asked . "Its was nice how about you Jack?" Amory smiled with her reflectnent eyes. "KABOOM!" Unanticipatedly the ground shook violently ! Smoke and ash filled there lungs ! searing pain spread across there bodies! "What's happening !?" Amory shrieked with slight shudder. She could hear here thunderous heart. "Where under attack !"
