Stupidly Dangerous

Amory laid against the wall , her eyes closed . Her body ached in pain . She had no idea how long they been stuck , but she knew time was running out . She could tell Jack was beging to starve. The green walls were toying with her mind , the heat made her claustrophobia worse. Amory grinded her teeth as she stood up. She moved her hands across the wall feeling for something, anything. She could feel the air getting thinner between her fingers. Sweat poured down her back and face. "What are you doing ?" Jack asked as he pulled himself up. "I'm finding a way out, before you starve. "

"You mean before we starve ?" Jack chuckled slightly . Amory didn't laugh , she bit down in her tongue and stared into his eyes. Her breath shook slightly , feeling her wings attached to her back. Feeling the electricity coursing through her veins and her heart echoing in her ears. "Yeah."

"I don't know it's useless." Amory huffed with her eyes closed. "We cant give up , that's the last thing we can do. Amory . I have faith. " Jack was so positive , full of hope but Amory could see threw his mask . He was scared , in pain but there was a glimmer of hope.

"Faith?" Amory asked. "Faith in God. Do you not believe in him?" His voice nearly seemed sarcastic , Jack stared into her eyes .

"I..Its complicated." Jack placed his hand on her cheek , his eyes were darken with tears .

What was wrong ? "What do you believe in then ? " He asked . Amory drew a sharp breath . "I believe in -" She took another sharp breath , her eyes with her thoughts .

What did she believe in ? Off course God was real but since the war no angle nor God was ever seen again . Beside with everything that's happened , how in hell was she going to answer ? God could be dead along with the angles , the cupids had taken over .

There kingdom was now heaven .

"It doesn't matter , we to find a way out." Amory protested , wrapped up in her own self doubt. "Okay." Softly Jack said , his tonge was presses against his teeth. He paused and didn't say anything. Amory scanned the controls but everything was busted.

"Hey! Look Amory !" She turned around , in his hands Jack held a bomb. It was a planter bomb , at least that's what she called them.

"Are you thinking wh-" "That's the most dangerous plan you've thought off yet." Amory looked into Jack's eyes , he was determined . It no use in arguing.

"Good thing I'm f*****g stupidly dangerous as you ." She smiled.
