I was still mad at my sister and Zariel. Did they not trust me enough to tell me about their relationship?
Waiting for my training to start, I lay on my back trying to clear my mind. It won't be for any use if I keep stressing out about all those stuff.
"Good morning!" I hear and I open my eyes to see the person who spoke, even if I knew pretty well who it is.
I close my eyes and turn my head in the opposite direction with a scoff.
"Invi... Look, I know that you feel betrayed but I didn't mean to. None of us did. We both love you and you know that. I apologize for not telling you earlier. But we didn't seem to find a good time for this. I'm sorry, Invicta!"
He said sitting down, next to me. I slightly turn to him and open an eye, so I could see his face. Searching for any signs of untruths. But I couldn't find any.
"I can feel you are staring at me," Zariel said chuckling. "You should talk to your sister. She is really worried about you. Please!"
"Ok! I will. But only because I want to and not because you ask me!"
"Thank you, Invi!"
We stood like that for a couple of minutes, before I was the first to spoke. "Do you have your transportation device yet?"
He opens his uniform slightly, his muscular chest visible now, and grab a small necklace with a round blue pendant. It was the most beautiful thing I ever saw. Made of silver and a piece of Nibira's Heart.
"Here! This is mine! They are all different, changing in shape and size after your soul. It at least this is what they told me." He said and start laughing.
"Can't wait to have mine! Did you ever use it? Outside of the training, I mean?
"No! I never get the chance to. Today they will give you yours, so the long wait is over."
I nod my head and think about how my pendant will look.
"Good morning, soldiers! Or better yet, transporters!" Came Samoa's voice.
Confused I turn to Zariel."What is he doing here?"
"Well, he is the person who trains in this field. Transportation is his thing."
"Hmm...!"
"Now, those of you who don't have a transportation device, please come to me, one by one."
I run to the front of the crowd as fast as I could, but I didn't get first as other soldiers were already there. There were like five or six in front of me.
'Not bad!' I thought.
Playing with my fingers while I was thinking about my first travel, I'm pushed in the back by the person behind me. I turn to him in anger ready to punch him. "What the f**k is your problem?"
"Mmm... I'm sorry miss but the Elder was calling you three times already. He looks pissed off."
"Oh... Ok. My bad. Thank you...boy?" I say not knowing his name. He laughs a bit before nodding his head.
"Invicta! Will you do us a favour and come here already! There are still many people waiting!"
'Oh boy! He is pissed off indeed.'
"I'm coming! I'm sorry!" I said to him with a large smile.
"Here this is yours! Now put it on!"
I grab the necklace from him and put it on my neck.
The unshaped crystal starts glowing so bright that I couldn't look at it.
I could hear the other soldiers murmuring.
When the light fades away a small ruby red crystal in the shape of a bird was attached to my necklace. I took it between my fingers to look better at it. It was amazing. Then I look back at Samoa. His eyes held something indescribable.
"Well, I expected nothing less for you! You can go now. Next!"
"Yes sir! Thank you!"
"You got a nice one! Congratulations!"
"Thank you, Zariel! But what is this means?"
"Who cares? People that love you know you better enough. So who cares what the colour of a rock says about you!"
I kissed him on the cheek and mouthed a thank you. His eyes widened in surprise but then he just smiles at me.
We stood there for about thirty minutes before everyone gets their necklaces.
"Now that you all have a device, we can start. I want you to clear your mind. Think only about you and your pendant. There is nothing else. Just the two of you. Tell me when you're ready."
Everyone mumbles a yes after a few minutes.
"Keep your eyes closed and think about how you get from where you are to the Sacred Chamber building. I will meet you there! If you are not able to do it try till you get there. I will know if you have cheated."
"Yes sir!" Everyone says.
"Give me your hand!" Zariel said to me!
"Why?"
"Just to make sure wherever you get you won't be alone."
"You don't trust me, Zariel?"
"That's the thing. I trust you too much! Now please, give me your hand!"
I grab his extended hand without saying anything else, thinking about what Samoa told us.
'Sacred building, Sacred building ' I keep repeating in my mind.
Suddenly, a falling like sensation overtook me.
"What the f**k!"
I open my eyes to see why Zariel was yelling like a little girl.
"Holy s**t!" That was all I could say before I burst out laughing.
We were at the Sacred building. But on top of it.
"Ok, ok! Let's try again. But this time let's think about the exact place where we want to go."
"But, Zariel when we will travel out there, we won't be able to think about an exact place. You know that right?"
"Yeah... You are right. Ok, then let's try again just like that. At least we are together."
"Ok."
I close my eyes again and after I open them back I couldn't see anything.
"Zariel? Where are we?"
