Michael calmly exited his room trying not to explode in her presence. The image of how scared she was kept replaying in his head and it broke his heart. He believed that he was Anna and Sam's protector and yet this happened. Although he didn't know exactly what happened ,he was already assuming the worst. He wanted to shout out his frustration of not knowing exactly what happened or who did this to her. He was so angry that he was breathing heavy. If only I didn't pressure her into this, if only we had come up with a better plan that didn't involve her then she would be okay, thats what was going through his mind. The 'what if's' were getting too much that finally he snapped and he rained punches on a wall imagining it was his face he was hitting. After a while he calmed. Then he realized that someone came into his house attacked his....attacked Samantha on his property that's the most disrespectful thing anyone had ever done to him and he knew one thing and that was he is not letting whoever did this to Samantha get away with it that he was sure of but first he needed to know who did this and what exactly this was. With a clear plan he descended the stairs his red eyes scanning the faces that were still there for any clue any kind of sign of guilt but he didn't want to make it obvious that he was on the hunt and he was out for blood.
Anna descended those stairs hoping that this feeling would never end. This is why she liked hanging out with the girls, they had a way about them that just made you want to be their friend they just drew attention to themselves just by being themselves. She knew the girls well, they have been friends since middle school its only now that Sam has joined her school that they don't get to hangout as much as they did.
The party was in full blast by now but Anna kept a close eye on Sam not wanting her to get into an altecation by accident. She was so clumsy and not good with people. Sam came across problems she didn't mean to start so easily this is why Anna doesn't hang out with the girls as much anymore because them attracting attention didn't always work out well for Sam. She did understand that although she found Sam's awkwardness cute other people might find it annoying and totally on purpose.
"Its not a party unless Jack and Monica fight." Anna said under her breathe on her way there. She pushes past the crowd gathering around them.
"What do you mean what was I doing with her?" she heard Jack say making her way around the last person to find a fuming Monica if this was a cartoon they'd be smoke coming out of her ears, her face red like a boiled kettle.
"You know full well what I mean Jack or are you incompetent in that area too." Monica shot back at Jack, gasps went around the room and some snickers. Jack glared at Monica clearly warning her about her implications. Jessica and Veronica came in a rush and stood by their best friend both of them staring daggers at Jack. Jack didn't care at all he thought himself the hot guy who can get away with anything even murder just by his looks. It didn't help that Monica always came back to him no matter how big his transgressions were.
Jack turned and headed for the table in
desperate for a drink whilst Monica was being escorted to Anna's room the three ladies. After three shots Jack felt everything align perfectly when he set his eyes on Sam by herself looking like a lost sheep completely unaware that the big bad wolf had set his eyes on her.
Jack just wanted to appease his p***s for the night now that Monica won't do it he needed someone else.
Everything was going Jacks way he couldn't believe just how easy it was but when tears started to fall on her face he immediately lost interest. He liked kinky foreplay but sadness is never sexy to him. Some regret perhaps, anger definitely but not sadness. He dropped Sam to the floor and headed out the door feeling like maybe it wasn't a totally lose. He considered himself a woman expert. He thought Samantha would look at today as a life lesson and would some day want to confront him and only then would it be fun for him. He set the trap put the cheese now all he has to do is wait for the little mouse to smell it and come running. His lips curled up into a small smile as he thought about it with that he went home hoping not to bump into Monica again.
The girls struggled to have a decent conversation because the music was really loud. After a while Monica got sick of it. "Come on guys lets go. " Monica said standing up. "Go where?" Anna asked not liking how all the other girls just stood up as well.
"We can sleep at my house." she said.
"Come on, Anna ...who knows how long the party will go on."she explained sensing her friend's hesitation. "Plus i don't want to see Jacks face again tonight." she pleaded in a whining voice stomping her feet like a child.
"Okay let me go find Sam." she said rushing out not giving them a chance to reply.
Anna searched the house but couldn't find her best friend. She headed out the door only to find the girls impatiently calling her from the car." Anna! come on!" they screamed like the drunk girls they are. Anna turned around to go and talk to her brother about her leaving but the girls kept screaming so she went to the car to go explain her movements.
" I can't find her so I'm inside to go check again and maybe get Michael to help me." she said quickly pointing to the house with her thumb."Noooo!"the girls said in unison. "Anna I asked Sam went home you know this isn't her scene" Monica lied wanting to get out of here before she actually found Sam."And Michael won't even notice you're gone with the way he is drinking" thats all the false statements it took to get Anna in the car and they drove off.
Michael searched for Anna so she could come and talk to Sam to get more information but he just could not find his sister. Xavier saw his friend frantically searching and decided to help him. "Dude what are you looking for ?" he asked his voice coming out a little louder than he expected because Michael kept walking around aimlessly and Michael winced at the sound. Xavier was really good at parties but he could never be serious about anything, that's how everyone saw him. "Not the time Xav." he said sternly and intimidatingly deepening his voice then turned his back on Xavier and continued walking. Xavier frowned , his intention misunderstood yet again so he followed closely behind to clarify.
"If you looking for Sam she is still upstairs." he said but didn't get a response from Michael he just kept moving. "If you looking for Anna she left with the Cah's" he tried again. Michael foot steps came to a halt. "What!?..w-why What?!" he asked not really knowing who to direct the question to. Confused as to why his Sister would just leave without saying anything. Alot of things were happening at this party and he liked none of them so there was only one thing to do.
He stomped over to the music station and cut the music mid song. "The party is over! EVERYONE GRAB YOUR s**t AND GOOOO!" he bellowed. Groans and protests erupted as people slowly got up ,gathered their things and left whilst Michael's friends just sat there laughing at the people leaving the house. Michael turned to them and glared. "Didn't you hear? I SAID f**k OFF!" he shouted, their faces turned to him shocked. Evidently they thought they were exempt. They reluctantly stood up and left some did expect Michael to say 'no,not you frank, stay' but he didn't he just stood there with a stoic expression . Being hockey players they knew their anger tended to get the best of them and at every initiation they vow to forgive each for outbursts such as these. When they join the hockey team they hoped that hockey would be an outlet for their frustrations.
Michael found himself knocking at his own bedroom door. He thought maybe she would have fallen asleep or at least just laying there but what he didn't expect was what he was seeing. He moved towards her with caution with concerned look. There on the floor at the end of the bed sat a very drunk Samantha Jackson nursing an almost empty whiskey bottle.
