Chapter 15

"Okay ka lang?" alalang tanong ni Kat.

Ashley decided to go to her friend's unit.Minsan naman dito talaga siya natutulog.She called her mother bago siya umalis sa resort kagabi.Sinabi na lang niya na may out of town shoot silang gagawin ng kaibigan and she will go home in 2 days time.

Tipid siyang ngumiti dito.

"Good morning." she greeted her instead of answering her question.

Nakahiga siya sa kama nito.Nakaupo at nakasandal si Kat sa headboard while she is  lying on her side.

Alam ng kaibigan na magkasama dapat sila ni Jett until now.When she rang her bell last night,niyakap lang niya ito and didn't say anything.Hinayaan lang siya nitong umiyak until makatulog siya.

"I am sure na seryoso yan.Obviously tinakasan mo si PBJ.I know na hindi ka hahayaan nun na umalis basta-basta.Kung hindi ka pa ready na pag-usapan..it's okay.Basta anytime that you need me or you want to talk..andito lang ako ha?" sabi ni Kat.

Ashley just nodded  as a thank you and hinawakan niya ang kamay ng kaibigan.Ayaw muna niya talagang pag-usapan dahil for sure maiiyak siya.Mugtong-mugto na ang mga mata niya sa kakaiyak.

Kat sighed heavily.

"Kung ano man yan I hope maayos niyo agad." sabi nito.

"Ewan ko Kat..parang ayaw ko na." she said na ikinanlaki ng mata ng kaibigan.

Umupo na din siya and sumandal din sa headboard.

"You can't be serious! Bes ano ka ba? Sa tingin mo papayag ang badass na jowa mo na maghiwalay kayo?!" halos pumiyok ang boses ni Kat.

Ashley fiddled with the hem of her tank top and didn't say anything.

"Alam mo ba na may nalaman ako about PBJ? Inisip ko kung kailangan ko pang sabihin sayo o hindi.But I think now is the right time para malaman mo." sabi nito.

She turned to her friend and with a slight frown asked," Ano yun?" 

"Remember nung pinag-drive ka ni Clyde sa prenup shoot   last month?" tanong nito.

"Oo naman." sagot niya.Ewan niya pero tila kinabahan siya.

"Pinuntahan ko siya sa apartment niya after 2 days dahil may pinapagawa ako sa kanya.Kaya pala MIA ang lalaking yun  noon dahil sinapak ni PBJ. Apparently nagselos ang jowa mo sa kanya.Kung hindi pa sinabi ni Clyde na ex ko siya malamang nalumpo siya ni Jett!" naiiling na sabi ni Kat.

Nasapo ni Ashley ang noo.That explains why Clyde wasn't answering her texts that time.

"So you see how dangerous and ruthless your PBJ is bes? Tapos ngayon sasabihin mo na ayaw mo na sa kanya? OMG lang! Ayaw kong isipin kung ano ang gagawin nun!" naiiling na   sabi ng kaibigan.

Nakagat na lang ni Ashley ang ibabang labi.She knows it's not going to be easy.

Naalala niya ang nangyari kagabi.

(Flashback) 

Naiiyak na naman siya while she looks out the window.Sabi ni Brenda apparently nabalitaan daw ng papa ni Jett ang nangyari sa IRM nung isang araw.Galit na galit daw ito. Jett will have to go back to the States to explain  himself  and to  prove that he is worthy of his  father's trust lalo sa business nila.

"If you really love him..let him redeem himself to his dad.He is on his way pero mukhang masisira na naman because of what happened at the store.Tutal para sa inyong dalawa din naman yun.For your future.I am not saying that you break up with him.Ang sa akin lang...huwag masyadong seryoso.Hayaan mo muna siya.Ilang linggo lang naman ang kailangan niya para patunayan sa daddy niya na kaya na niyang tumulong ng seryosohan sa negosyo nila.I think uncle Armando will give him a chance to close a very big business deal.Kapag nagawa ni Jett yun..okay na."

Lalong siyang naguluhan  sa nalaman niya from Jett's cousin.

  Sinandal niya ang ulo sa upuan.

Brenda rented a car from the resort for her.She insisted na gusto na niyang umuwi minus Jett.Ang driver pa nito ang pinasama sa kanya para mas safe daw siya.Basta ang usapan..hindi dapat malaman ni Jett na nagusap sila at tinulungan siya nito.When she told her na gusto niya ng makipaghiwalay sa pinsan nito sabi lang nito na pag-isipan muna niya ng mabuti bago siya magdesisyon ng ganun.

"Mam....si Mam Brenda po." Napukaw ang pag-iisip niya ng patalikod na  iabot ng driver ang cp nito.

She left her own mobile na may tracking device sa suite.Isaksak ni Jett sa baga niya kung gusto niya.

"Thank you po." sabi niya sa may idad ng driver bago kinuha ang cp nito.

"Ashley..nagwala si Jett...." began Brenda.

(End of Flashback)

Napapikit siya before turning off the shower. Hindi maalis sa isip niya ang pag-uusap nila ni Brenda sa telepono.Mas lalo niyang napatunayan na hindi siya basta-basta pwedeng makipaghiwalay kay Jett.He really  can do unthinkable things when he is furious.

"Oh God!" naanas niya bago nagpunas ng katawan and wrapped herself in a towel.

She has to act normally kahit ang sakit-sakit ng nararamdaman niya.Just thinking  of him being with Margaux when he arrived at the US is really painful.Pero she has to be strong.She has to stick to her plan.Mahal niya si Jett but he is not good for her.And maybe she is not good for him too.Dahil sa kanya masisira  ang tiwala ng ama nito na kasalukuyan pa lang bini-build ulit  ng nobyo.

Pagkalabas niya ng banyo bumukas naman ang pintuan and  Kat came inside the bedroom.Mukhang namumutla ito.

"Bes! Si PBJ nasa labas! Kahit ang yummy-yummy ng jowa mo Ash..nakakatakot ang hitsura ngayon! Bilisan mo na and talk to him baka ano pa ang gawin nun!" nerbiyos na sabi nito.

Ashley sighed heavily bago naghanap ng maisusuot.Her heart is pounding though she looks calm.

"Let him wait!'she told her friend.

"Anong let him wait? Sabi niya if you won't be out in 5 minutes...."

"Katherine pwede ba?" inis na sabi niya sa kaibigan as she puts on her bra.Nakatalikod siya dito.Naka-bikini na siya under her towel.Dinampot niya ang pantalon bago alisin ang tuwalya.

She is trying hard not to show how nervous she is in seeing Jett again and her friend's reaction is not helping.

"It won't hurt him to wait..." 

Nagulat silang magkaibigan when the door swung open violently and Jett came in.Nakatiimbagang ito and his eyes are steely.

Ashley is on the process of putting her jeans on nang pumasok ito.Her badass bf's eyes went directly to her lower body and she saw anger mixed with lust in his eyes.She hastily pulled up her jeans and buttoned it up while gritting her teeth.

A horndog will always be a horndog.Kahit halata naman na galit na galit ito..hindi maikakaila na tinitigasan na naman ito because of her state of undress.Naka bra lang siya and jeans.

"E-Excuse me..sa labas muna ako." Kat said before going out.

Ini-lock ni Jett ang pintuan.

"What are you doing here?" tanong niya sa malamig na boses.

He looks  haggard pero syempre guwapo pa din na talaga lang super unfair.Naka-simpleng itim na t-shirt lang ito at maong pants and like her,mukhang wala ding tulog masyado.

His face is wooden and his eyes had turned hard again lalo na ng mabilis siyang nagsuot ng pang-itaas.

Ang isang kamay nito nakabalot ng gauze which made  her frown but she doesn't want to ask kung napano ito.

Buti na lang hindi ito lumapit sa kanya but his eyes are devouring her.

"Bakit ka basta na lang umalis kagabi?! You know damn well that you can't just leave me like that!" he said na nagtatagis ang bagang.

She raised one brow .

"Oh yeah? You keep on saying that I can't leave you or walk out on you just like that..eh bat ikaw? When are you going to be fair? Your fuckmate.." nagmura si Jett and she glowered at him bago niya tinuloy ang sasabihin niya, "Margaux, your imported b***h said that you are going back to the States! Nagmukha akong tanga! Hindi ba ako ang girlfriend mo? I was f*****g clueless that you are leaving!"

He covered the distance between them but she screamed.Yung sigaw ng babaeng hysterical bago siya umatras para  lumayo dito.

"NOOO!  Bitawan mo ko!" she said in a shrill voice.

She saw him grab his own hair in frustration at lukot na lukot ang gwapong mukha nito.

She knows what she is supposed to do pero hindi niya mapigilan ang sarili  not to show her amazona side.Siguro naman he won't be violent lalo at hindi niya muna sasabihin na she is breaking up with him.

She went to the other side of the bed.

"And how would you explain what I saw? You are really so kapal! You let her wrapped her arms around your own! Did you have a boner? Do you miss f*****g her...." 

Mabilis na lumapit ulit ito sa kanya.

"SHITT!! STOP IT!" galit na sabi nito before grabbing her arms.

Nanlaban  and nagsisigaw na naman siya hoping that  he will let her go.

Imbes na pakawalan, he pulled her to him and wrapped his arms around her, pinning her own hands and arms between them.

"I'm sorry Love...I'm sorry..." he kept on murmuring at the top of her head.

She, on the other hand is sobbing and at the same time cursing him.Her face is   against his chest.She couldn't move  much dahil ang higpit ng yakap nito sa kanya.

Ganun lang sila for a few minutes.Hindi niluwagan ni Jett ang yakap sa kanya.He kept on kissing the top of her head and ang isang kamay nito hinahagod ang likod niya as she cries.

When her sobbing subsided and she stopped struggling, he spoke.Yakap-yakap pa din siya nito.

"When you saw us last night,Brenda just told me na nakarating sa papa ko ang ginawa ko sa IRM.He wants to see me and talk to me.Sorry Love..hindi ko din alam.Nagulat din ako kagabi.He wants me to leave for the US two days from now.Kung gusto mo hindi na ako aalis.I don't want to leave you here anyway." sabi nito.

Sa narinig, she tried to push him a little away from her. Maybe he sensed that she is ready to talk, his arms slackened a little. 

Tumingala siya to meet his eyes.She is frowning.Naalala  na naman niya ang sinabi ni Brenda.

"You should go.Prove to your father na nagbago ka  na and you are more responsible.Na wala lang yung nangyari and apologize to him." she said.

Hindi niya gustong isipin na siya ang maging rason kung bakit hindi maayos ang rift ng mag-ama.And she can't forgive herself kung dahil sa kanya mababale-wala lahat ang pinaghirapan nito these past  few weeks dahil lang sa nangyari.

Lumamlam ang mga mata nito.

" About Margaux..I did try to remove her arms many times but ayaw niya.Kahit naman gago ako Love..hindi pa ako nanapak ng babae." he chuckled."I didn't feel anything s****l if yan ang iniisip mo.Not only because  my mind was preoccupied  with the thoughts of  my father, but wala akong reaction mainly because you are the only one who can make me have those feelings.Makita o maamoy lang kita,nag-iiba na ang pakiramdam ko.What more if  you are in my arms?Like right now..." he said huskily while his eyes turned molten.

Nun parang  hahalikan siya nito, iniwas ni Ashley ang bibig.His kiss landed on her cheek.

She heard him sighed impatiently.

"You are evading the issue.Go back to the States because you have to." she said.

She felt his arms around her  tightened again.

"Bakit parang gustong-gusto mo akong umalis?! " he hissed.

Sinalubong niya ang matalim na tingin nito sa kanya.

"For heaven's sake Jett!" Nangiwi siya when he pulled her even tighter...

"Why the f**k are you calling me Jett?!" galit na tanong nito.

She swallowed a bitchy reply.She has to think na hindi siya mananalo sa lalaking ito.Sakyan muna niya.A little drama won't hurt.Tutal aalis na ito in 2 days.Kaya na niyang magpanggap ng dalawang araw.

She sighed then pouted.

"Look Love...you have to go.Okay lang ako dito.It's not as if you will stay there for several  years di ba?" 

When she said that she wanted to cross her fingers.Mas makakabuti if hindi na nga bumalik ito ng Pilipinas to save her from more hurt.Kagabi niya narealize..kahit mahal na mahal niya ito..it will be better for both of them kung mag-break na lang sila.

Lalong lumalim ang kunot sa noo nito.

"Sa palagay mo ba hahayaan ko yun? I will go back as soon as I can! Or mas maganda siguro kung sumama ka na lang sa akin?" he suggested.

She looked at him with narrowed eyes.

"You know that I can't do that! May business kami ni Kat and my parents won't allow me!" sabi niya.

Nagmura ito then said."Okay but I will hire a bodyguard for you habang wala ako! " 

"No! I don't need a bodyguard! Don't you dare hire one not unless  you want to see the hellcat in me!" sabi niya sa  malamig pero seryosong boses.

He clenched his jaws and his eyes glinted.

"Okay Love.But don't do anything that I don't like.See this?" Inalis nito ang isang braso na nakapulupot sa kanya to show his  hand na may benda.

This time hindi na niya  napigilan ang sarili na magtanong," What happened to that?"

He sneered.

"My cousins did something to stop me from finding you last night.Call Rina and ask her what I did to them.So never think of f*****g with me ,Love.You know how bad I can be...." malamig na  banta nito which made her swallow out of fear.

She has a pretty good idea kung ano ang ginawa nito sa mga pinsan.He is the baddest boy of the Alejandres so even his cousins are not exempted from his rage .Tama talaga ang desisyon niya. He can't do these things even to his family kapag sinusumpong ng kapraningan dahil sa kanya.

"I will  not touch any woman while I am there ,Love and  I expect you to be a good girl..alam mo kung gaano ako ka-gago....".

Napalunok  na naman siya.

Brenda and Margaux raised their glasses for a toast.

"Are we lucky or what? Maybe destiny is doing its thing because Jett and I are really  meant to be together." malapad ang ngiti na  sabi ng huli.

" That's possible so don't mess up.I will do my part here so do yours there. Be grateful that you have  a real friend in me..." biro ni Brenda.

Margaux said thank you and  giggled before sipping her drink.

Nasabi ni Jett sa kuya Nicolo niya na gusto sana nitong kumuha ng bodyguard for Ashley.Nagkataon naman  na andun siya so syempre she discouraged him.Nasa opisina sila nito.

"Hindi ba  mas maganda na kilala mo ang magbabantay sa kanya? Kung gusto mo I can do it.Sabi mo nga ayaw niya di ba? It could be risky.At least hindi pa halata na pinapabantayan mo siya if ako na lang.And I could get to know your girl . She is after all.. my future cousin-in-law." nakangiting sabi niya sa pinsan.

Jett c****d a brow while his lips twitched  upwards to one side.He leaned on his chair and crossed his arms on his  broad chest.

"What's the catch? Mabubutas ba ang bulsa ko sa kapalit?" biro nito.

Kunwari nag-isip siya.Then itinaas niya ang handbag niya na mamahalin while winking.

Lumapad ang ngiti ni Jett.

"Basta bantayan mo lang ng mabuti ang asawa ko...I will buy you kahit ilan ang gusto mo." he said na kumindat din.

"Of course..I will watch her like a hawk.Ako pa?! " sagot niya na nakangiti pa din.

She deserves an acting award.Ang galing ng drama niya kay Ashley.Sa sobrang galing niya,nakonsensiya  niya ito.Ang sabi nito,she will break up with Jett kapag nasa America na ang pinsan niya.Alam nila pareho that Jett will raise hell and will go ballistic..pero at least nasa malayo na ito at hindi agad-agad makakabalik.Pasimple  din niyang sinabi kay Ashley that  it will be better if mag-bf agad ito  para kahit bumalik si Jett..hindi na sila pwede.

"To you and Jett! This time do your best to keep him! Last chance mo na yan! Bon voyage! " Brenda said to Margaux bago sila nagtoast ulit nito.

"Thanks girl! I swear..I will do everything to make your cousin happy..especially in bed..!" malanding sabi nito.

Nabalot ng tawanan nilang dalawa ang hotel room ni Margaux.
