Damien followed her all the way to the palace library, he had no idea what she wanted to do there but he still went anyway. On getting there Damien could see that she had arranged a little area where they could both sit and chat for a while. She had some books already on the table, a teapot and some teacups.

"I wanted to spend sometime with you your highness if you don't mind"

"No not at all"

she gave him one of her bashful smiles and shifted a seat closer for him to sit.

Damien looked at her and smiled oh his little spitfire, trying her best to draw him in, even if it means her acting all innocent and unwise just to rope him in.

he makes to sit but then remembers.

" Apologies princess, where are my manners?, please sit first ".

" No No No, I insist your highness, I'm in your kingdom now so I have to serve you" .

" princess lucilda I insist, please, do sit down".

The king drags her chair out for her and she sits, she then gestures to him to sit also, and then he does.

Damien studies her with a long intense look, she's pulling off the nervous girl act quite well if he were to grade her acting skills. From the lip biting and the refusing to meet his gaze act and then bouncing one knee up and down almost had him bursting into laughter and clapping his hands, damn she's good.

So princess I don't think we've had the chance for some time now to really talk about the situation of things between us since the incident at your room the other night.

I apologize with all sincerity lucilda, believe me it wasn't my intention to say something insulting.

And I'm also sorry for the punch too king Damien, but notwithstanding I won't hesitate to do it again if presented with that opportunity.

They all laugh out loud and this laughter feels real, like pure, honest, and free of complain.

Damien and lucilda switch over to the the kingdoms vast knowledge of books and take the chance to enjoy the kingdoms library.

She spends most of the time talking with Damien that she forgets about needing to rest for some hours before dinner, it's only when the king is informed of a high delegation robbery that she realizes the time already gone and rushes to stand up.

She already sees that her time with him is over, although he promises her more time next time she's still wary of the occupants of the castle.

She doesn't want him to go back on his word so he ends up giving her a royal promise, that's the only way she accepts leaving him.
