My world moved in slow motion. All I"d known had once again warped into something unfamiliar more complicated than I would have had it. What to do? Confusion abounded in my fragile mind. The drums may have stopped but my head still beat like the spring tide upon Europa"s western shores, and a steady humming I"d been unaware of only added to the pounding.
