Chapter 13: Lyudmila Lyudmila was due to write a review of the year for the December issue – a calendar of events with accompanying commentaries. It was a more or less technical task but for the umpteenth night Lyudmila was at the computer, glued to the real life detective story unfolding online. It was quite genuinely the biggest event of the year. Then suddenly, there was this short play. By one Shakespeare Too. What, like the Shakespeare? What a terrible insult to the great bard! But there was an easy explanation: the great plays weren’t written by Shakespeare but attributed to him, so why not just keep on attributing? So what if he’s long dead?
