Chapter ElevenONCE THE PLANE landed, I was out of my seat and yanking the heavy door open. Despite the reasons behind my visit, I hadn’t seen my children in too long. I knew it didn’t look good as far as me keeping Kimmie went. My last trip to Hong Kong might have been a little rough, but I’d gotten quite a few leads on her family. If I found relatives willing to care for her and able to provide a loving home, I had to return her to her own wolves. Ryuu was a different matter. I knew in my heart no one would come to claim him. My only worry was figuring out the mystery of what he was, but that could wait. Right now I planned on spending all my time with them and getting that custody arrangement over and done with.
