Chapter Thirteen“GLAD TO SEE YOU got your brain to work,” Vicks said, punching my shoulder. We were all in the hallway of their house, having just arrived from Tokyo. Shishou and Stuart sniggered quietly at me, knowing I deserved all the jabs I was getting.
“Oh, well, what did you expect form me?” I shrugged and stuck my tongue out. “I am still the same male who charged into your house to challenge my brother for the Alpha position.”
She laughed and slid her hand around my waist, guiding me to the dining room. “You’ve grown up so much since then, I am tempted to forget you’re still a reckless i***t deep down.”
