Chapter 9 - Moments

1570 Words
After getting up in his car, Claudya thought that he would take her back home, but he had other plans for the day. He slowly took her hand and placed it on his lips for a gentle kiss that made her melt like butter. "What are you doing?" she whispered. "I made my way for an invitation out. To eat ice cream or something." She looked at him in disbelief. The attack Pamela had on her shook her confidence a bit and the last thing she wanted was to go out in the city and have another meeting with her. "I don't think that is a good idea," she said. Not being the answer he waited for, he asked. "Why not? Would you like to do something else?" "It is probably not such a good idea to be seen with me..." she said in a slow voice. He pulled over the car because he needed to look her in the eyes. He took her chin again to have her look him in the eyes and see that he was sincere. "I like you a lot, Dia! I want to know you better and I don't give a cent about anybody's opinion in this city. Do you?" She looked at him in his mesmerizing blue eyes, thinking of an answer. What was to be said? She did not care either, because she was planning to flee from it on the first occasion. 'Hell!' she thought. ' If she started to leave a plastic doll-like, Pamela, to dictate her with who she would meet, she would be insane. "No, I am not," she answered. His devilish smile came back. " A very wise decision. Now let's treat ourselves to some ice cream and have a walk in this beautiful park." Dia froze for a few seconds when she realized where he had taken her. 'The park' he was saying of was more a forest with a few green open spaces, paths under the trees, benches, and lights for those who are walking in the evening or night. Practically, the park was a gathering for couples who wanted to share some moments alone. And also a nice place to have a concert. Deep inside the forest park, there was a wide green area where a few of the concerts took place. It was a beautiful area to visit. It was the green jewel of the town. She looked at him under her eyelashes and could not ask herself, 'Did he know where he brought her?'. This was the lover's park. The meeting spot of those who wanted to take advantage freely of their love. Claudya took a last look at him and placed her hand in his hand. It felt right. It felt safe. Thinking about it, she was happy she waited so long for Cupid's arrow to hit her. She was falling rapidly for him and was feeling so good doing it. He was sweet, thoughtful, and damn hot! It was so perfect... A small pain hit her heart. 'What if it is too perfect?' She shook her head and her thoughts. 'What is to happen, will happen!' and left herself 'dragged' by the hand in the park. At the first ice cream wagon, he took two ice-creams as he promised and slowly entered the park, hand in hand, enjoying the ice-creams. It was almost mid-summer, the heat outside was bearable but having something cold like ice cream to enjoy was making a fresh moment. They walked hand in hand for a while, each one with their thoughts, before she broke the ice. "Where are you from?" Nick almost choked on his ice cream. "I'm sorry?" Dia smiled at him when she saw his reaction. "Where did you live before you and your family came here?" Nick inhaled a bit of air before he answered. He didn't want to tell her too much yet, but looking at her he felt he could trust her with anything. Maybe it was a foolish feeling, but that was what he felt. "I come from New York." Dia almost tripped when she heard him. "A Newyorker? You don't look like that. I wouldn't have guessed." Nick started a little laugh. "Why not? Do they look a certain way?" Dia kept silent just for a little bit to explain to him what she wanted to say. "I always thought they had loads of money because they have the opportunity of all the business in the world, therefore they are elegant and chic." He saw a bench nearby so he took her to sit. He didn't release her hand, making her feel the tension that was running into him. "You are right, Claudya. The people there are chic and elegant. Or at least I know my parents were and it made me believe all people are. They were going to fancy parties and restaurants and I admired both of them for how classy and good they looked." A small smile flourished in the corner of his mouth, raised the head that kept it down all the way he told her about her parents, looking her in the eyes. "I dreamed of the same thing. The connection with a woman the same my parents had." He took both her hands in his hands. The contrast was melting Dia's heart. Her small hands in his big hands, like he could protect her forever from all evil, like that first day. It was a silly thought, yes, but she could not help it. She asked almost whispering, intuitively knowing already the answer and having her heart squeezed in anticipation. "Had?" He remained silent for a few brief seconds, looking away. "They died. Two years ago. That's why I was taken in by my father's brother, my uncle. I was a minor and the closest relative and I could say the only one I knew was him. But in 2 weeks I will be free under his guard and will be free to go wherever I want." "You can't now?" she asked in the same slow tone. "I can go anywhere I want, of course, but he is overprotective. He and my aunt and I want to go further than they are ready to allow me." Dia turned her head from him, looking away. She tried not to let him hear the sadness in her voice. "And you will not leave? The moment you will be considered an adult..." It was more an affirmation than a question. He took her chin in his hand, making her keep eye contact with him. "It is sure I will have to go to do some of my family business. Even my uncle agreed with that, but I will come back for you." She tried to escape his gaze but he would not let her go so easily. "Don't be silly" she said. "We are not serious, it is just an amusement what we do." His eyes sparkled at the hearing of her words. He said softly, making her heart tremble along with her knees. "I am not with you for amusement. I feel something really deep for you and I would like to explore it further." With no other warnings, he leaned his head to grab her lips. All her being was waiting for this moment. The touch of his lips on hers was soft but so sensual. He wrapped his arms around her while the kiss was getting deeper. She felt that the clothes on her could easily burst into fire! All her skin was on fire like she was in temperature. He was having a tremendous effect on her. He started moving from her lips lower on her cheek and neck. She had no idea that her neck was such a soft spot. All her thoughts blew away in all four corners of the word and the only thing she could think was 'Oh yes!' being quite sure that she had started to moan. She was asking for something but she was not sure about what. She felt that all the pleasure was located somewhere between her legs. Nick was overwhelmed by the pleasure this little girl was bringing him, but he was trying to remain with his judgment unclouded. He was caring for her too much to make her his on a bench in an empty park, she was deserving more. But God was his witness that her soft lips and skin were driving him crazy. And her innocence. Oh, her innocence was his aphrodisiac. He could feel the tremble of her in his arms and the inexperienced kiss. She was learning fast, no doubt, but he was sure she was innocent, so he decided to stop the heated kiss because after two minutes more he could not stop, not even with an army sent from hell to stop him. He took her chin and placed it on his, giving both of them the chance to recover, breathing heavily. He closed his eyes and waited a few moments to recover his voice. "We need to stop now, beautiful. This kind of kiss is for another moment and place. When you will be ready too." She took his big hands in hers and said, "I cannot be more ready, but you are right, it is not the place." The determination in her eyes gave him shivers in his back. 'She's one to keep!'
