Barnard hadn't expected that answer. The words hit him hard, and he found it suddenly impossible to face her. "I told you, once you've calmed Grandpa and Grandma down, we'll go through with the divorce."
"So, me meeting Mr. Luke... isn't that the perfect solution?" Katherine replied, her tone razor-sharp.
Barnard's eyes widened in disbelief as he was at a loss for words. 'Is she seriously meeting Victor to push for a divorce?' His mind raced. 'She's really going there. She's got some nerve!'
