It had been two blissful weeks. Although there was definite awkward moments, there had also been so many loving ones. There were surprises like dinner, flowers and random, spontaneous dances on the street at night. It felt like a true fairytale except that the prince clammed up whenever it came to saying anything romantic. And forget about him approaching a conversation where he would have to say love.
It's not like it changed anything, we are mated and we will be together no matter what. But I would be lying if I said that his aversion to love doesn't effect me. My heart has fallen so deeply for him that I believe the rejection to my proclamation would destroy me. Thus this causes the awkwardness.
