Episode 1: The Application

Esther sat in front of her computer, fingers trembling as she clicked the Submit button. She had spent hours perfecting her resume and cover letter, and now, her application was on its way to the hospital's HR department.

She was applying for the Lead Nurse position, a role she had dreamed of for years. Esther had worked hard to become an excellent nurse, always putting her patients first and going the extra mile. She felt confident that she was the best fit for the job.

As she closed her laptop, Esther couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. She had always trusted God with her career, and she knew that He would guide her to the right opportunity.

"Lord, please let me get this job," she whispered, her eyes closed in prayer. "I know I can make a difference as a Lead Nurse. Please, God, make it happen."

Esther took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. She knew that the waiting game was the hardest part, but she was determined to trust God, no matter the outcome.

Just as she was about to get up, her phone buzzed with a message from her colleague, Sarah. "Hey, just heard the Lead Nurse position is open. You applying?

Esther's heart skipped a beat. Sarah was her rival, and she was known for being ruthless when it came to getting what she wanted. Esther's determination grew. She would not let Sarah win.

"Yes, I am," she replied, her fingers flying across the keyboard. Good luck, though."
