"You? Why are you here?" my eyes were widened when I saw him.

"Did you know each other?" dad scowls his forehead while asking me.

"N-Yes" I answer no but he answers yes.

"Pardon me?" I raised my left brow when he said that.

Our parents were confused by our answers.

"Okay, Let me fix this, so, you're answer is no because you don't know him and you yes because you knew her. I am right?"

I was startled when someone is talking back at my side, when I glanced at him I widened my eyes again because why all of a sudden we met the three of us here.

"A-And Y-You?"

"Enough this conversation, can you two please sit down now." My dad was confused with us.

I was sitting now in the middle of this two-man that I don't even know.

"Now, Gab. This is the Conde Family. This is Mrs. Cassia and Mr. Theodore Conde you already know them but you did not see their son. So, this is Alaric and Adrian Conde."

Okay, kasama pala sila dito bakit hindi ko alam yun. Nakikita ko naman magulang nila sinasabi naman nila na may dalawang anak na lalaki sila bakit di ko sila nakikita. Ah baka, kapag hindi ako sumasama sila naman yung kasama.

"By the way can we order now food?" my mom asked us for the food and broke the silence between the Family of Conde.

After the awkward silence the food was arrived and served in our table. Kinakabahan ako na hindi ko maintindihan parang may mangyayari na hindi ko magugustuhan sa huli.

"Excuse me, I'm allergic to shrimp can you please replace it with beefsteak? Thank you" I genuinely smile at her.

"Oh my gosh, sorry I forgot to say to our chef that you have an allergy to shrimp baby," mom said to me.

"It's okay Mom" I smile at her.

Habang kumakain ako ng tahimik nakikita kung nag-uusap ang mga magulang ko at ang conde family they're laughing like I don't know what there laughing about.

"Sana pala hindi na ako pumunta dito, I'm out of place here" murmuring to myself.

"Ako na lang kausapin mo at hindi sarili mo. free naman ako, why don't you talk to me?" he smile at me like we're friends already as if he were my friend I would not forget the hit of the ball on the side of my forehead.

Wala akong reaksyon sa mga sinabi niya at pinagpatuloy ko lamang ang pagkain ko.

"Ayaw mo bang nakikipag-usap o ayaw mo lang akong kausap?"

I didn't hesitate to answer his question because that was a both for me. First I was not comfortable talking to someone I didn't know, secondly I was disgusted with him.

"Napaka gwapo ko naman para hindi mo ako kausapin, nga pala I'm Adr-"

"Dad introduces you and your brother to me, so don't introduce again yourself to me and please stop talking at me," I said in my cold voice.

he just laughed at what I said.

"Anung nakakatawa? I don't even drop a joke, so why are you laughing?" Naiinis na talaga ako ah.

"Pano yung salubong ng kilay? Pakita ulit" Now he's already playing at me.

"Duh! whatever" I just rolled my eyes and drink my wine.

"Haha, kidding aside I'm sorry again for what happened earlier. we didn't mean to hit the ball on you. Kaya wag na inis okay."

I didn't talk back and ignore him, yet, I feel someone staring at me, so I looked at the left side and there he is looking at me then he looked away from me and rolled his eyes. I also rolled my eyes like we awkwardly do something.

"Can we be friends now?" Oh come on, kailan ba matatapos magtanong ito.

"Please?"

"Fine" I took a deep breath after I told him.

"Yes! Anung course mo nga pala?"

"Culinary Arts" without facing at him.

"So, masarap ka pala magluto. Ipagluto mo naman ako yung best seller niyo dito. Yung spicy grilled chicken breast and yung chicken alfredo" he wided his smile.

"Bakit kita paglulutuan? close ba tayo?" I took my wine and drank a little.

"Pwede naman tayong maging close kung gugustuhin, why not coconut"

"Corny"

Nag paalam muna ako sa kanila na pupunta akong bathroom. I stood up and walk towards the bathroom.

"Uwi na kaya ako? tawagan ko na lang si Dad na masakit ang ulo ko"

Ngunit paano ang raming nakabantay na guard. The last time I ran away and go to Judah's house Dad was so upset with me because Judah took me home drunk.

"Argh. this is sh*t" Napahilamos na lamang ako ng aking kamay sa mukha.

Lumabas na ako ng bathroom at pumunta muna sa rooftop.

I bow and wipe my tears and let the wind blow my hair. I calm down before I go down again, while I'm down the stairs, I bumped into a man.

"Watch your step," I said to him without looking at his face.

I almost stumbled but he grabbed my waist so that I won't fall.

"Are you okay?"

I raise my head to see his face, I widen my eyes. He again?

"I-Ikaw? A-Anung ginagawa mo dito?" I removed his hand from my waist but my heels were out of balance on the stairs so I clung to his hand.

Our lips hit unexpectedly, because of what happened I pushed him and went straight to the bathroom.

"My first kiss" I touched my lip and I remembered again what had happened-this is not appropriate.

I fix my make-up and my hair then I came back to my chair.

"Why you took so long? Akala ko may nangyari na sayo sa bathroom" Adrian asked me.

Both Dad and Mom looked at me, they taught me I ran away that's why I took so long. I looked away at them.

"I-I was just going to the rooftop and h-have some fresh air"

When I'm going to sit in my chair I was startled when he sit on his chair. Gulat ka? sige rooftop pa.

"Now that we are complete can we start the meeting?"

Akala ko ba nag-uusap na sila kanina. Nagtatawanan pa nga ih. Umay naman, di pa pala tapos.

My Mom and Dad looking at each other as if they looking for timing. Dad looks at me seriously.

"Gab, we have something to tell you" he was so nervous to say every word he let in his mouth.

Wag niyo sabihing ampon ako kasi kamukha ko lola ko. Huy!

"When your grandmother was still alive, she have a man that will be his best friend in her day. He always helps your grandmother every single day, until one day the boy admits his feelings to your grandmother but your grandmother has a boyfriend, who's not mentioned on his best friend." He bows

"Your late grandmother and their late grandfather wants their grandchild to be married. Nangako sila sa isa't-isa na kahit hindi man sila nagkatuluyan, ang kanilang mga apo na lamang ang magpapatuloy nito."

Anu daw? B-bakit di na lang nila kinalimutan yun. Bakit may ganito pa?

"But why do I need to be married? we're successful, we don't even need money--right? Dad!" I hysterically said to him.

"Gabrianna! pwede bang kumalma ka? " dad look me with his irritating face

"Paano ako kakalma ikakasal ako ng hindi ko alam sa taong hindi ko naman mahal! Sige nga dad explain mo sa akin kung bakit ko kailangang magpakasal." the tone of my speech is rising, I can not process in my brain everything he says.

Napatingin ang ilang mga tao parte sa amin at iniyuko ko ang ulo ko at sabay hawak sa noo ko. Hindi ko alam kung lasing na ako o sumasakit lang ang ulo ko dahil sa mga pangyayari.

"You and Alaric need to be married as soon as possible"

That was the last thing a hear from my dad before I fainted.
