Kiki push her head through the rear window of the taxi. “So this is Florence, not much has changed since I left” Kiki said to Eva has they rode rode on a Taxi from the airport.
“ indeed ! But wait till you see town , just before home ,There is a spectacular monument that has been erected there I won't tell you what it is but you will definitely love the view ” Eva said
Kiki opens her eyes filled with interest
“Delightful , apart from the popular Saint Wesley parish ?” She asked.
Eva is surprised and happy at the same time
“ so you have heard about the popular building?”
“ of course who haven't heard about the 5000 seater parish whose architecture has 5000-seater completed, I heard it was just competed a year ago “
Eva nods her head in agreement, “ you know it made headlines even before its completion, now we have tourists trooping into Florentia in their numbers , just to come and marvel at the wonder” Eva said feeling excited.
“ wow that is good for the city , isn't it Eva?” Kiki asked And Eva quickly replied”
“yes it is! The commerce and the whole of the city as well. You know mom says even the sales in restaurant increased” she says
“ That is a good one for Pa'Cho and Emily, how are they?” Kiki asked
“They are at the restaurant. Mom said I tell you sorry she couldn't come, we'll all meet at home later now all you need to do is to go and rest “ Eva announced.
“ I will , and then I eat her special pasta” they both laugh .
Kiki notice an awkward silence take over and breaks the silence
“”Eva ! I am really sorry my love!”
“Oh Kiki why ! Don't be, okay “ Eva said calmly
Kiki moves a little closer holding on to her friend “ you know kiki, you deserve non of this , Alberto is such a bastard . To think that miscreant put you through all this , I want to hold him strangle him so hard “ Kiki motions
“I know Kiki, I know you can go the world for me,that Is why I cherish our friendship “ Eva said. “ He is only a coward without dignity for thinking he can suffer helpless folks like us “ she added looking all teary.
Kiki continues to part her friend, consoles her and begs her not to cry
“He has the police Kiki, those people work for him “breaks down
“ you know you don't need to marry him if you don't want to , you shouldn't marry him Eva!” Kiki said
Eva looked up to Kiki looking confused.
“ I don't know what to do Kiki he will harm mom and Dad, we still owe him “
“Hmm but you don't have to marry him, let's work for him , what about the restaurant….” Kiki trying to prefer solutions
“ I wish “ Eva sighed as tears drop from her eyes, she rests her head on Kiki as she tries to encourage her for the rest of the journey .
For the next few days , Kiki, in the disguise of trying to lookout for the good of her friend kept trying to dissuade Eva from marrying Alberto .
But in the end Eva decides she is just going to do it to save her parent's since there was no other option. Soon the wedding bells were ringing All preparations were made and Eva was set to marry Alberto Draco .
“Do you, Eva , take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?” the priest looks at Eva waiting to here her answer
She stands there wondering if this was a good decision she was about to make,to end up with this brute, liar and cheater Her heart bleed at that moment . Turning to the congregation, her eyes meets with her mother's, that instance she saw sadness in her mother's eyes , even while she was trying so hard to hide it with a smile . Eva made up her my mind right there . She must do this to save her parent's from the imminent punishment which they are to face if she doesn't pull through with the wedding.
Even though Kiki had come the other day to discourage her from going on with the marriage , her mind is now made up.
“ I must do this” She looks at her mom one last time and says “ yes! Yes I do”
She loved her family even though she was forced to do this , this is a sacrifice that she is making for the people she love.
On that note the priest declares “ now I pronounce you , Alberto and Eva husband and wife! Groom you may now kiss your bride ,”
Alberto looks into her eyes and he can still see that first beauty in her which attracted him fateful night at the club. Despite a that has happened between them ,he still feels that strange affection for her and now in an unexpected way she has finally become his wedded wife . “ I now have her all to myself” he thought now he can devour on the altar of romance .
He feels a burning yearning for her. That dude between his legs itching to have her once again as he remembers the nights of ecstasy and savory s****l bliss they once shared , can they now have a part two !? He places his lips on hers .
Eva closes her eyes as she couldn't stand seeing this demon up close, the more she saw him ,the more her heart beat in hatred for Alberto.
Few moments later the groom walks his bride to the limousine parked waiting for them outside and they rode away silently . Alberto clears his voice trying to break the awkward silence, He lights a cigarette and asks if she cared for one !
Eva simply shrugged. Different thoughts raced through her head “ to think that I had started falling inlove with him back in Newyork before kiki warned me about this demon . He is a Chameleon!” She thought
“ he cares about no one else but himself “ Eva cried silently. They rode silently.
Few moments later
In a dark room
a chair with a faceless man sitting on it in the dark , another man, heavily built enters and salutes “ Boss Alberto's marriage has been concluded”, the Man said, referring to the man on the chair
On hearing the news , the faceless man laughs uncontrollably.
He gets up and walks at a slow, calculated pace but his face is still not revealed .
“My plans are going coming into place , this is just a piece of the puzzle. Ha ! Ha! Ha! Alberto doesn't know what is coming for him,the Dracos will surfer ,” he laughs hysterically.
“ Don Draco ! I am coming for all that you ever laboured for, for all you did to my parents. You killed them but i will watch you surfer first that which you love will crumble before your very own eyes Ha! Ha, ha ha! Ha!”
now turning to his aid “he killed my parents for what ? All he owns is blood money , I will make him surfer in pain. Watch me bring his Children together Step siblings ha! Ha! Ha! Alberto marries his sister. No Billionaire Son family Scandal ,no.. no The headline must be catchy now go!” The faceless man draws his aid closer and mumbles some commands they laugh out loud before he walks out
