Nymera’s POV The rain hammered down harder as we rushed to the battlements. From the broken towers of Hollowfang, I saw them. An endless tide of black and red cloaks, wolves with eyes like dying embers, warriors twisted by Astra’s magic. Ten times the force we faced before. Maybe more. My throat tightened. "They moved fast," Kaelith muttered beside me, wiping rain from his blood-streaked face. "They were waiting," Dain said grimly. "We were herded here." I glanced at him. His posture was rigid, his jaw clenched. The bond between us buzzed sharply, filled with tension. Below, the enemy forces encircled the Keep like vultures around a dying beast.
