Dorian was washing dishes when a message from Serena came through asking for a video chat. He frowned at it. She had never sent him a message like that. He had always been the one to initiate video chats so far in their friendship. She also knew that during the day he was always doing family stuff, so it was not a great time for a video chat. But it was also the wording she had used. There was some sort of situation. He wondered if she was in trouble, and if so, what kind of trouble. He dried his hands off really fast and responded.
