“You know, I forgot to pee when I had the chance back there,” Jack said after a while. He was relaxing in the back seat behind Ryan who was in the front passenger seat. “Is there a gas station along here?”
“What, afraid of wild animals are we now?” Danny laughed, but he patted his hand anyhow.
“I know a great place for a picnic lunch by the river,” Missy put in. “I’ll get on the frontage road, soon, and it won’t be much farther. Unless you’d rather hang it out the window?”
“Thanks, I’ll wait!”
