Chapter 3: Meanwhile, Back at Headquarters
Back at the headquarters of They Shall Remain Nameless Airlines, in Somewhere, Somewhere, there was talk. There was evidence. There were omissions and there was blame. And lots of confusion. “This was found in a flight attendant’s bag,” said one irate and elderly airline officer, waving a black, sort of cylindrical object, battery operated, with a large base, in the air. One officer sniggered; the rest were aghast. “Is it a bomb?”
“What does it do?”
“Who is to blame for this?”
