Chapter 4: Back on the Road Again
“I need a pit stop, soon. Are there any restaurants or rest areas around here? Yeah, I’m hungry too.” That was Ryan.
“Uh no, not really,” replied Danny, turning the radio down. “But we’ll turn off here and take Old Highway Ten, the old road. At least there will be fewer state troopers. I uh, assume that works for you guys, right? I mean, this car really stands out, you know?” The turn came up and he whizzed off the nicely paved highway and into the boondocks, and a left again. “Now off to your right in just a short while you’ll see the—oh holy concubines blessed Mary—the Yellowstone is in flood! Hold on! We’re gonna either sink or hydroplane! Wheeeeee!”
