The afternoon mercifully drifts by with relative calm. Arturo concentrates on his geometry and biology courses, topics he truly enjoys. When the bell rings, he heads to his locker, collects his jacket and backpack, and looks forward to getting into the fresh air, and hopefully a nice quiet walk to the diner before the predicted storm hits.
