THE GENTLEMAN

THE PROPOSAL

After that day Emilla and Hendrix continued to know each other more. While talking, with time they discovered they get along well and conversation between them never had a dull moment.

Hendrix still kept his feelings and intentions hidden from Emilla,he would makes jokes about having a baby with her. He would make his intentions known indirectly,he invited her to go on vacation with him.

Emilla had been looking for someone with gentleman qualities and soon she came to discover, Hendrix possessed these qualities. He would always say the kindest things to her and told her what he wished to do with with the person he loves.

While they were becoming close,Jane wasn't given up on Hendrix either.One day as Emilla had an errand she met with Tasha from the party who asked what was going on between she and Hendrix as he was supposedly having a thing with Jane. Emilla was surprised to hear this as she thought nothing was going on between the two and felt she should back off. Though wanting to know the truth of what was going on between the two she decided to keep what she was told to herself and not bother about it.

After some time as he continued to talk to her,Emilla finally decided to ask "Hendrix is there anything going on between you and Jane ?" he was surprised to hear her ask such a thing so he said "no"

Hendrix then asked "why are you asking?"

Emilla then told him what Tasha told her,she said "Tasha told me you and Jane have been talking and plan on becoming serious, and that she had been waiting to hear his say on them"

Hendrix was shocked to hear this and told her what was really going on between the two,he explained to say that his friends planned on setting him up with Jane but he wasn't interested and had interest in someone else whom he was told was dating one of the guys at the party,which to his surprise was a lie and a way of ensuring him and the one he liked don't get close and he can be with Jane.

Time passed and one day as they where talking, Emilla decided to ask him whom he liked at the party, only for him to say her name. After him coming out and telling her how he felt,she had been thinking of asking him one important question so one day she asked, Emilla said " what are your intentions with me?"

Hendrix then said " I would love for you to date me",few minutes later Hendrix asked "can you date me?"

Emilla was surprised as she wasn't expecting to be asked this question as soon as he asked it,she then asked him to give her some time as she still has more to learn about him and about them together. He agreed to give her time and now he eagerly awaits for his answer and continue to know each other more.
