Chapter 2: Brian's POV

I was so irritated when I left the Hotel. Why the heck would that women throw herself onto me like that? I am not saying she is not attractive, I am just simply not interested in her. For the first time in my life I had the verge of escaping from a woman.

"Josh get the car we heading home" I instruct him as I go to the reception area to settle the bills and it turns out that it's not even above $200 which surprises me because everytime I took someone to lunch the minimum I paid was $450.

Anyways I pay the bills with cash and the receptionist looks at me with a surprised gaze before shaking his head. "Do you have a problem with me sir?" I ask him. He drops his gaze and clears his throat, "No sir. Was wondering why it's not on the house and why sir is paying in cash?" he calmly responded. Haha, Sorry I just had to laugh. "Don't worry about it. It happens that I had the exact amount so I thought I'd pay cash". He hands me the receipt and utters the usual appreciation speech of "Thanks for dinning with us please do come again".

Luckily Josh my driver was fast enough to bring the car out to the front. All I want to do is go home and get some workout done, all this Ms Shaflon nonsense got me irritated. Thankfully there isn't much traffic at this hour of the day it's just 14:30 now and Josh pulls up at the Condo's garage.

I must say the Condo is one of my greatest achievements. I don't regret buying it, it's like my own paradise. I had to sell my town house after what Justy did. I wouldn't stand being in the house with all the memories.

I leave my shoes by the door as I enter my sitting room. Damn it's really cool in here. Will do some punches and lifting to get rid of some of the days stress. That woman really messed me up. I put on my blue gym shorts with a bare chest and I head for the gym on the other end of the condo. Just when I am about to start with the lifting I receive a call from Kane.

"Hey, sup buddy?" Kane never calls unless he needs something I cut through all the bullshit as I go straight to the point. "What do you want this time of the day". His silence tells me that I caught him off guard. "Calling to invite you out for drinks at 8 if you're up for it".

After agreeing to go out for drinks with Kane. I finished my workout, bought some groceries, which also happens to be one of my favorite thing to do. I then prepared a one person dinner which consisted of Greek salad, some roasted potatoes and salmon on the sides with home blended fruit punch to finish it off.

I hope Kane isn't planning anything dirty. He always go wild with his outings.

so black Jeans with a plain white slim fit shirt and a blazer should be appropriate for the occasion. I grabbed my phone from the kitchen counter, dialled for a cab and downed one shot of iced scotch in hope of calming my nerves down.

I get a call that my cab is here. I head downstairs and I must say the cab looks luxurious, and I am smiling as I am pleased with it. I give the driver the location of the outing. Once again I am stunned, I should leave my office more often. The place Kane chose is small but classy, the floor is made out of marbles giving an illusion of an ocean.

"Sup, bro" I pat Kane on the shoulder and he nods "The king himself made it on time" then his expression changes as he searches among the crowd as if he lost something. "urgh, where is she?". He questions me with a lost facial expression, I raise my eyebrow.

"You're suppose to come with a girl dude"."Are you mad, from where? Don't start. My day pissed me of already" And I tell him everything about Ms Shaflon and as usual he laughs it off.

30minutes of drinking, eating and chatting. I finally decide to make use of the bathroom. Just as I am about to enter the bathroom a girl grabs my arm from behind. "Please help me" she is practically breathing the words out.
