Luke drove us up a dirt track and pulled up beside a forest, confused I turned to him "erm are you sure we are in the right place? " I don't want to admit it but im a bit nervous my heart is telling me im safe but my head is screaming at me yeah right you met him like 5 minutes ago, Luke turns to me and smirks "scared?" I roll my eyes making him chuckle then he gets out of the truck and comes round to my side and opens the door "come on princess I promise I won't bite..... not tonight anyway" then he holds out his hand, I put my hand in his but hesitate to get out of the truck so Luke gives me a hard pull so I fall out the truck and into his waiting arms "come on baby, I promise you will always be safe with me " I look up into his eyes and know instantly he is telling the truth " I swear princess if you don't stop looking at me like that I won't be accountable for my actions..." "sorry" I smirk at him and he just shakes his head "come on" and he leads me into the forest. We follow a path through the trees, its pitch black but Luke seems to know where he is going so holding his hand i just allow him to lead me, i look to the right and there are a pair of eyes staring at me, which makes me halt in my tracks and Luke turns to look at me then he turns to see what im looking at, he gives a low growl and that's when the eyes step forward showing me it was another wolf then it lowers itself to its knees in a bow, then Luke pulls me onwards "come on princess we are there " that's when Luke leads me through some trees into a clearing and on the other side a lone figure stands when we have covered half the distance a voice speaks as if it's standing beside us " THATS FAR ENOUGH, FOR NOW, LUKE, I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK WITH YOUR MATE ALONE, BETHANY PLEASE COME FORWARD" i look at luke who kisses me and whispers "its ok i won't move from here i promise" so i nod my head and carry on. once i reach the figure i realize its a young black girl who has a playful smile but also has eyes old beyond her years but they are kind eyes "hello Beth im queen Lanna, i have been waiting for you" she says with a smile on her face putting me at ease " oh im sorry, i didn't know we were coming Luke didn'....." i started to say but queen Lanna just chuckled " no i mean i have been waiting for years, you will learn your way, the Alpha will help you" i frown "alpha?" "why yes Alpha luke of course, you are going to have a very important job to do soon Luna but first you need to become one with your Alpha, goodbye luna" i stand there shocked as she just walks into the trees and disappears "well what the hell was that about, " i say in frustration "is everything, ok princess?" Luke asks coming up to me "well im not sure, she didn't make any sense AND WHILE WE ARE ON THE SUBJECT YOU ARE ALPHA AND DIDNT TELL ME? " I yell but a big grin just spreads across Lukes's face "well first i didn't tell you because i didn't want to scare you and then i guess i thought you just figured it out well once you found out about wolfs anyway" i didn't really have an argument it's not like Luke lied to me but i huffed anyway " she called me Luna" "well-baby unless you reject me, you will be Luna" "reject you,?" i ask confused "well yeah you can reject me with certain words and our bond will be broken" "wait so your saying all this time we could have stopped these feelings," i ask " well yeah, if that's what you want," Luke says looking uncomfortable "look princess if you want to reject me ill understand" "what i don't understand is why you haven't rejected me?" i ask feeling sick that this may be the time he decides to do just that, a look of relief crosses Lukes face " i dont want to lose my princess," he says putting his forehead on mine "but you could have Shann" Luke stops my sentence with a kiss "your my princess and only you........ you are my luna.
