Big dog?

"A bit much, did you need to raise yourself to your full height? you looked terrifying"

"I was showing her how big and strong we were then i was gonna lick her, i thought it would make her laugh and put her at ease",

"Oh is that what you were doing? It looked like you were gonna eat her"

"Eat her, of course, i wasn't gonna eat h..."

"Hahaha Haha "

"What?"

"Well now she thinks you're a dog that eats young girls"

"Yeah well laugh all you want your the weirdo who brings young girls to feed the dog"

"Mmmmmmm pops"

"Shhhhhhhh shes waking up "

"Beth honey"

"Was Jerry seriously a big dog?" " mmm well yeah, he kina was honey but if you want we can take him to the vet for a flea treatment just for fun", i smile and slowly open my eyes to see both pops and Jerry looking down at me with concern on there faces " im fine im fine, i was just startled that's all , you really do have some big teeth there Jerry", "im sorry Beth love, i was going for a big sloppy dog kiss," "hey im just glad to see you got some clothes on," "haahaaaaahhahhaaa" we all start laughing and the rest of the evening is spent talking about what its like to be a wolf and just before its time to leave Jerry says "now Beth i don't think i need to tell you to keep this to yourself do i?" "no Jerry, your secrets safe with me" "good, now i want you to watch out for this boy at school , just because he could be a wolf doesn't mean he wont be a dirty mutt who will use you" "ok Jerry, thanks for everything " "your welcome darlin, im always here if you need me".

By Sunday i have finally wrapped my head around the whole wolfs existing idea so i tell pops im gonna head home that evening, so pops takes me out for an early dinner in town before i leave. "Beth how are you? " a voice behind me says so i turn to see Sam one of the boys i used to see on the beach when we used to come for the summer as kids "oh hey Sam how are you?" "yeah, im good and what about you? we should hang out?" "err i can't" "oooo burn dude," says his friend who i hadn't noticed was standing beside him so i throw him a dirty look before continuing "sorry Sam what i mean is im going home after this," i say using my hands to show the meal, "no problem, maybe next time?" " definitely " "ok ill see you later than" "yeah bye," i say before turning back to my food, "wolf" "huh," i say looking around at pops who is watching me, " i said he's a w..." "i heard what you said," i say flapping my hands at pops to shut him up then say "seriously is anyone a normal person?" whilst looking over at the retreating back of Sam and his friend.

That night on the drive back home i think about everything that i was told about wolfs and what it means for me and too be honest i can't see it changing anything lets face it iv now met two wolfs and to be honest iv known them my whole lives so it's not really gonna change anything and as for luke, Jerry told me to be careful but im going to go one better im just gonna avoid him so there won't be a problem there and making my mind up about that i already feel happier and more relaxed so i guess mom was always right after all when she would say " out of sight, out of mind".
