when i finally manage to stop crying i let myself out of the cubical but once i get a good look at the state of my face i just want to hide away and cry again but no i had lessons to get to ..... i was already late for maths again, Mr Fisher was going to be pissed, so i tidied my face as best i could and finally left the bathroom and headed to maths " well lateness seems to be becoming a habit with you Miss Jenkins doesn't it?" "Sorry, sir i was in the bathroom" "so is this the excuse you are going to use every time?" "sir?" "well last week you were late and the bathroom was your excuse, then you don't turn up for my lessons for the rest of the week and when you do eventually turn up your late and using the bathroom excuse again........ i think maybe you are just trying to get out of maths" By this time everyone is laughing and my face is beet red, Mr Fisher seems to be enjoying the attention of the other kids even if it is at my expense " give me detention then and ill make up the time then " i spit "oh i intend to miss Jenkins, you will do one-hour detention today and tomorrow now take your seat", "do you have to be such a jerk?" a voice says making us all turn to see Luke looking straight at the teacher "well Mr Maison are you volunteering to keep Miss Jenkins company during her after school stays?" Luke didn't say anything but continued to glare at Mr Fisher so he continued " ill take that as a yes then shall i, well ok then so you will join miss Jenkins for detention this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon, now has anyone else got anything else to say?.... no well good now let's get on with the lesson shall we?"

for the rest of the lesson i just sat there confused at what had just happened, i couldn't understand why Luke would get himself into trouble for me, it didn't help that i could see him keep looking over at me from the corner of my eye but i just pretended i couldn't see him, As the bell went at the end of the lesson everyone started pushing there way out of the class but i made my way to the front "sir?" "yes, Miss Jenkins?" " well, it's about the detentions sir" "you are doing them no excuses" "oh i know sir, it's just that Lukes detentions sir.........well he shouldn't have to do detentions for me sir" "oh but is your brain so small you forgot that he called me a jerk?" " well no sir but he did it to be nice to me ......... so ill do both his detentions for him" he raises his eyebrows "you would do that ?" "ye...yes sir" "hmmmm well no im afraid that won't work you will both do your detentions after school today, good day miss Jenkins," he says before quickly leaving the room, leaving me no choice but to follow but as soon as i enter the hall i wish i hadent because the hall is filled with the popular kids, shannon and Luke included, i take a beep breath and calmly walk through them without drawing attention to myself not that it worked for long " oh hey loser" "oooooooh how was loserville" "leave her alone" "hey scabby loser" "ugly loser" " i said leave her alone" " LOSER " as i pushed my way through the group i noticed the only people calling me names were the ones who always have, none of the people from parkshore accadamy said anything to me they just stayed to the side looking uncomfortable, then a screachy girly voice got my attention "hey b***h i heard you got Luke into detention " Shannon screamed at me i was so tired of this crap i just tried to walk off but Shannon put her foot out at the right time so i went spralling across the floor "haaaaaaahhaaaaahhaa hahahahahahaaa hahaaaaaaa " for about ten seconds i was the butt of the joke then everything went silent as Luke walked through the group and picked me up in his arms bridal style looking me in the eyes the whole time then he gently brushed a wisp of hair off my face before placing me gently down then he looks over my head at somebody and nods after a second i see another male from parkshore come towards me and put an arm round my shoulder "grrrrrrrrrrrr" i whip my head round at the noise but the boy with his arm round me chuckles "don't worry shes safe with me dude" Luke glares at the boy for a few seconds before he looks at me and his eyes soften "Luke honey" Shannon coes as she goes to take his hand but in that split second Lukes eyes have hardened and he whips round and pins Shannon against a wall ,everyone gasps as he gets into her face and says "touch me again you little tramp and ill make you suffer, TOUCH MY MATE AGAIN AND YOU WILL DIE, and that goes for everyone, if i see or hear anyone being rude in anyway to my girl then i promise im coming for you" he says to the whole room.
