Chapter 7: Passionate Kiss

"My love... where have you been? I've been looking for you ever since breakfast. You disappeared," Primo said with a hint of sulking. "Primo, that doesn't suit you," Jade teased with a smile. "I was just outside walking around. I wanted to familiarize myself with the hacienda." Jade noticed that Primo had just come out of the shower. He was half-naked, wearing only a pair of boxer shorts. A white towel rested over his shoulder as he dried his damp, tousled hair. Primo wrapped his arms around Jade and showered the back of her neck with kisses. His warm lips slowly trailed down the smooth curve of her neck while one of his hands affectionately caressed her. Jade was already familiar with Primo's playful advances. She knew exactly where this was leading, and since she was in the mood, she decided to indulge him. Slowly, she turned to face him until their eyes met. Lowering her lashes, she gently pressed her rosy lips against his. It began as a soft, tender kiss, but Primo responded with unmistakable passion. From the very beginning, Jade knew that what had first attracted Primo was her beauty and her figure. After all, what man wouldn't be captivated by her graceful curves and goddess-like appearance? And even if others claimed she had used her beauty to seduce a Villareal like Primo, she no longer cared what they thought. I have to make you fall completely in love with me, Primo, Jade silently cried to herself. You have to love me more than anyone else. "Jade..." Primo whispered softly. Jade traced gentle kisses along his neck and shoulders before lifting her eyes to meet his once again. There she saw the fire burning within them. In one swift motion, Primo pulled her into his arms and kissed her again—this time more deeply, more passionately. It was a possessive kiss. A kiss that seemed to declare that no one else could ever claim Jade except him. "You are mine, Jade. Only mine," Primo said firmly. For a brief moment, Jade caught a strange warning hidden in his eyes, but she quickly dismissed it. Instead, she slid her fingers through his hair and gently stroked it. Without hesitation, she slipped off her fitted blouse, leaving only her black lace bra. She knew Primo well. He had always admired her figure. His gaze lingered on her, and she could almost feel his desire intensify. Before long, his lips found her once again, planting affectionate kisses against her skin while repeatedly whispering her name. "Jade... Jade... I love you, Jade," Primo murmured between uneven breaths. Jade couldn't help but shiver each time his lips brushed against her skin, tickled by the faint stubble that had begun to grow on his face. She remembered reminding him just the night before to shave. Apparently, he had forgotten. Or perhaps they had simply gotten distracted. "Want this?" Primo asked in a husky voice. Jade couldn't suppress a quiet laugh. She knew very well that Primo's affection stirred something within her. Even she couldn't understand why his kisses affected her so easily. Though she refused to admit it aloud, she found herself mesmerized by his striking good looks. He looked like a Greek god brought to life. She knew no woman could easily resist a man as handsome as her husband. What a waste... Primo was a Villareal. And she hated that surname. She knew that Primo and Vince shared the same blood. She also knew that one day she would leave Primo once her revenge was complete. Primo... He was merely the means to accomplish everything she had planned. Once she succeeded, she would leave this town forever. She would forget everything. And she would never return. She had already made herself a promise. No Villareal would ever own her heart again. Not Primo. And certainly not Vince. Just then, Primo's hands slowly reached for the zipper of Jade's denim shorts. He had barely begun to lower it when a sudden knock echoed through the room. Annoyance immediately crossed Primo's face. For a moment, he seemed undecided whether to answer the door at all. "My love, you should open it," Jade said sweetly. She quickly picked up her blouse from the carpet and put it back on before fixing her appearance. Grabbing her hairbrush, she stood before the vanity mirror and straightened her messy hair. Smiling to herself, she handed Primo his denim shorts and white sleeveless shirt from the built-in closet. Instead of putting them on, however, Primo simply laid them on the bed. He took the white towel instead and wrapped it around his waist. The irritation on his face was unmistakable as he walked toward the door, while Jade secretly smiled at his childish reaction. "What?" Primo asked impatiently. "Primo, here's an invitation from Audrey," Vince's deep voice came from outside. "Her family is hosting a party at their mansion tonight. Our family is invited. We have to attend—they're one of our business partners." Audrey? Who's Audrey? Jade wondered silently. "I don't want to go," Primo answered. "Why should I? Am I even interested in this family's business? Aren't you and my brother the only ones benefiting from this hacienda anyway?" Jade could clearly hear the irritation in her husband's voice. She walked over to where he stood and saw him staring indifferently at the envelope Vince was offering. "My love," she said gently, "why don't you accept Vince's invitation?" "Your husband doesn't want to go because Audrey is his ex-girlfriend," Vince answered, deliberately provoking him. Jade immediately realized what Vince was trying to do. He was testing them. He wanted to see whether she would become jealous and argue with Primo. After all, that had once been her weakness. She used to be easily threatened by Vince's former girlfriends because she had always looked down on herself. She wasn't educated, and she came from a poor family. So that's your game, Vince? she thought. You want Primo and me to fight. She calmly took the invitation and pretended to read it before looking Vince straight in the eye. "Alright," she said with a warm smile. "Primo and I will attend. Right, my love?" Vince frowned, clearly disappointed. He had probably expected Jade to support Primo's refusal. "Are you sure?" Primo asked, worried about how she truly felt. "My love," Jade replied, "Vince said they're important business partners. There's nothing wrong with attending. Besides, haven't you already decided to claim your rightful place in this hacienda? It was your parents who left it behind for you." "What?" Vince blurted out, visibly stunned. "Since when did Primo become interested in Hacienda Villareal?" "Vince," Primo answered firmly, "I am my parents' legitimate son. I have every right to manage half of this hacienda because half of it is legally mine—not yours. Everything here doesn't belong solely to you. You're only my parents' grandson. I am their son. If I choose to claim what is rightfully mine, I can take my half of this estate... and your father won't be able to stop me."
