I and Diane just made up. Heaven knows I'm still a bit weary around her. It's weird you know, making up with someone that fast but I guess when someone is connected to your wolf, it's that easy. Just like the mate bond only a bit different but something within me doesn't still trust her completely. Besides, this occasion must be treated with respect. Speaking of the occasion, I haven't really been paying attention.
"What's going on?" I asked Diane.
"Well, Kenneth's speech is over so, I guess it's time for the Chief Councillor to hand over to Calvin." She replied.
"Who's the Chief Councillor?"
"Like, there's this council that controls everything concerning the wolves and every 10 years, a new Chief comes up. I heard that they're all super mean assholes."
