CHAPTER 3: [ JOEY'S POV]

Bridge High -High School is not that bad as I thought it was, its actually exciting . I walked to class but got stopped on my way due to a wave of fan girls, the first day I walked in all eyes were on me , I always had that charm you know but anyway I made my way to class and took the nearest seat by the window.

The class ended about  5 minutes ago but I decided to stay a little longer so I took a scroll through the corridors of ' ORDINARY LOCKERS'  I suddenly stopped and stared , it was her again-April Carrington. She was so lost in her own world I couldn't admire her any less , somebody called her and she turned around , this person was definitely the sunshine of her day that made her smile and WOW! SHE WAS DAMN BEAUTIFUL. I stood there frozen just looking at her and it didn't matter that I was in the middle of nowhere.

At this very moment I was walking to my locker when the principal steps in my way " Mister Arthur !"  I look at the principal " yes principal Jasmine!" I reply quite casually . " I hear your English studies are going quite well that's why I'm pairing you up with someone of my own choice who will be writing an essay with you" I blinked while she motioned the person over  " your partner- Miss Carrington " I looked at April and she gave me a warm smile , I returned the smile with one of my own. " Why am I required to write an essay principal? " the principal looked between me and April " its just a general test to see how well you can write , the topics are as follows" :

" the night sky " 

" the pearl necklace"

" the worst choice ever"

" You are free to choose your own , right then good luck!" before I could say anything else the principal walked away. I directed my attention back to April -she looked surprised and maybe nervous around me , I looked at her fair hands and her fingers were trembling. I looked at April and she looked back at me  , this was so my chance to speak to her. "Are you alright !" it was all I managed to say " I'm fine thank you for asking, I should probably get going and start writing - I'll see you around!" April was leaving and I didn't want her too  " wait a second April ! don't we have to like brainstorm together " she stopped turned back and opened her mouth slightly as if to speak " can we perhaps meet up in the gardens - near the front of the school" April spoke looking at me making me look at her intently " sure that's fine with me , I'll see you there !" she nodded and walked away.

The bell rang and I walked out of the lab and headed for the gardens , I reached outside and I see her sitting on a bench near the rose bushes. I walk over there and take a seat , I had to say something enlightening so the conversation wouldn't be boring. " You started without me ! " I added a pout and she looked at me and smiled  " not at all you just took a little long to walk , sorry!" this girl was so turning me on with her cute jokes and the way she spoke. " OOF I'm sorry! " I put my hands against my chest in defense  , perhaps you can teach me how to walk faster ! " I added a wink.
